  1. If both our home and away form drop off we could still get 15 points which is less than the points per game we've got so far, we'd still be on 92 points and more than likely would be promoted. I can't see Huddersfield winning 7 and drawing 1 out of their last 9 games and that's what they'll need to do if we do get another 15 points. Historically, 84 points is the highest tally needed to guarantee promotion. I say that to say 92pts would probably be overkill and we could reasonably expect 88/89 to do job lest go down in history as the best 3rd placed team. Ergo, 4 more wins from the remaining 9 should do it. The next two games on paper should be bankers you know...
  2. Except that you can guarantee that people will flood this thread like a bunch of brainwashed morons to protect our dear leader. Watching Newcastle Online transistion to RAWK over the season has been sad
  3. Shelvey is much better version of Mooy, seems a redundant signing. I'd argue some Aussie bias is showing
  4. Beat Huddersfield we're up. Draw it's a 9 , lose and it's gonna be a nervy run in

    Kevin Keegan

not really. means a lot to me personally. f***ing love the guy. Likewise, a true god amongst men
  6. Haha is this a wind-up? We'll never get as good a manager as Rafa in the next 20 years. What makes that a wind up? Failure to get promoted with our squad would be a colossal failure... why are you willing to absolve Rafa from all responsibility should that very unlikely scenario occur??? Also you're second comment is daft, unless you're a time traveller of some sort

    Andros Townsend

I'd be ecstatic f we got him back, would be promotion virtually guaranteed
  8. Not sure you can sort alopecia out, like.

As daft as they've been with transfers over the years there's zero chance they sell Defoe short of a silly bid like £20m+ and even then...
  10. This will be our 7th loss and it's only Jan. It's gonna be a long season
  11. It's a joke. I, like many others, won't even contemplate going to an away game. I appreciate it's rewarding loyalty which is fine but perhaps every now and then open up the allocation to members
  12. Tiote had a great couple of seasons tbf

They look absolute s***, but there's still 28 games to go Yep Bournemouth and Hull next. One team almost as s*** as them and one team I believe are worst than them. Too early to get excited yet. Bournemouth are a good side, expect them to beat the Mackems handily. You're right about Hull tho.
  14. QPR/Wolves comes to mind. To use an Americanism this feels like a trap game
  15. Unlikely he'll be half as effective at Prem level due to the vast difference in competition but he really is a pleasure to watch. That said, his best years should be ahead of him, could be a Carrik/Alonso like figure for us next year or he could revert to type. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.
  16. My sentiments too...barring injury 30+ goals has to be a target
  17. Elliot nightclub incident? Can someone fill me in?
  18. A win's a win. That said, 20 shots, 6 on target, just 1 goal, got to be more clinical. Wolves, Villa now this, happy with the 3 pts mind.
