He's tekked out and has always stood out when watching him. Sceptical if his game can translate to the Prem but would much rather have him than known underperformers like Jackson or overpriced bums like Tesco

he doesn't really have a say in the matter

What type of player do you think Mainoo is?? fwiw, it's a longshot and not at all a priority, but getting him near the 40/45m would be shrewd business.

Brentford are willing sellers, they're entire business model is predicated on discovering gems and making a profit, much like Brighton. They have little interest in holding on to him, at 28, at his highest valuation. Unfortunately for us, they're sensible in that they aren't going to jeopardise their season by selling without a replacement. I'm confident that if they do manage to get a replacement we'll get him (assuming our interest is still there)
  6. Spot on. Bruno is an elite passion merchant, but his football does the talking 90% of the time. Doing that shit while rarely contributing is criminal.
  7. I don't like the copout as all our players gave their all, they have done since Howe arrived, that's been a hallmark of the team. If it was a one off incident I'd understand, but I've seen this with him way too many times (he gets away without being carded at times) It was stupid, selfish and entirely preventable.
  8. From last season... He's been this way since Everton but unfortunately does not have Suarez like ability to justify the bs
  9. Hey man , he gave it 'his all'. That's all that matters apparently
  10. What a real fan you are . Isak's bs has nothing to do with his idiot play. Somehow the rest of his teammates managed to perform, while undermanned, without the brainfarts. But go ahead, amp up the passion merchant. He should try giving 90%, his 100% stinks.
  11. No he isn't, Bruno/Isak/Livra amongst others are great players, not everyone deserves that tag. Half the reason he does shit like this is that he knows he isn't and has to overcompensate for his relative lack of ability with 'passion' The other half being that he's braindead
  12. 10 men without the 1st team striker, we had the makings of a great season bar for Isak getting his head turned, what a shame.
  13. He's buns, would much rather overpay £50m for Wissa than for a guy we'll be looking to replace next season. Very unimaginative from the scouting department, that's assuming we have one
  14. He runs a lot, gets stuck in and scores once in a while. That's the bar for a 'top' player these days apparently.
  15. Costly braindead tackle #234 by old faithful, the passion merchant lovers will be drooling no doubt. To think Kudus was available for £50m...

it's a fine deal given the circumstances for all, wouldn't go higher given his age and AfCon responsibilities

    he knows nothing, content merchant
  18. you called the propaganda perfectly
  19. I've already said he has all those things, I've repeatedly said he's a good player but a poor finisher. Didn't need to read an article to confirm what I already know watching 60m for a guy to get 13 goals + loads of frustrating moments is not my idea of a good transfer Really hope the Wissa deal materialises (at < 40m)
  20. based on what? he got chances galour at Chelsea, what transient style of play do we have that'll suddenly improve his finishing? Palmer, James, Enzo feeding him chances didn't do it but Gordon and Elanga will ? Cool.
  21. I like stats, they can be instructive but that's for a player I know little/nothing on and not someone I've watched comprehensively in this league. 14 in 34 in a high performing side where a natural goalscorer would leave with 20+. He leaves so much on the table, no striker is perfect but he's warm as hell. Again, Chelsea brought two guys in promptly (neither world beaters), that should be a sign itself We're desperate, so it's understandable that some try to paint this in good light but I can't deny what I've seen, he's not a good striker, good player but terrible finisher Same people championing a potentially incoming will turn on him as he missed sitter #5 for the season
  22. Wood stunk for us, it's working out for him at Forest, great for him. By your logic, there are no bad signings as anyone could potentially turn it around. Let's just pick a name out of a hat, priors be damned.

He's turned up to training, hasn't sent any memos out and hasn't vowed to never play for the club again. Not even comparable.
