  1. It's not difficult. This thread is named after his brother.
  2. Yes, if only we'd been more consistent maybe we'd have won several trophies and come top of the PL. Suspect you haven't been following this crazy club for long!
  3. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6884298/2025/12/15/brazil-carlo-ancelotti-contract-talks/ By Mario Cortegana Dec. 15, 2025 The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) is in advanced talks with men’s head coach Carlo Ancelotti over extending his contract through to 2030. Ancelotti, 66, was appointed to the role in May on an initial one-year deal which runs until the end of the 2026 World Cup.
  4. While yesterday was a total disaster that will never be forgotten, I still think there's a decent chance that, by the end of the season, much of the vitriol and hyperbole that has been directed at players and management on here over the past 36 hours will, in retrospect, look like massive overreaction.
  5. I suspect that some of the players and staff don't quite realize that winning 6-0 against Fulham on Wednesday wouldn't "make it right."
  6. He was our best player in a Champions League game only 4 days ago.
  7. When you consider that we were nearly looking at a penalty that would have made it 2-0 and being down to 10 men, it's a good point despite the annoyance of conceding yet another late goal.
  8. Honestly never occurred to me. Naive on my part, no doubt.
  9. Yes. "Can you tell us a joke?" "Have you got a girlfriend yet?" Cringeworthy stuff.
  10. Again, BBC commenters rated the Rat as by far the worst of the 13 players Liverpool used. Gave him 5.55 out of 10. The next worst, Konate, got 6.78. www.bbc.com/sport/football/live/c0r9v8ke20yt#Liverpool
  11. Any excuse is good enough for resurrecting this classic. www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10192591/Steven-Gerrard-Aston-Villa-perfect-fit-Newcastle-blew-chance-appointing-him.html
  12. What's wrong with his feet?
  13. Jermain DeFrog. Sorry, that's awful.
  14. Yes, but his contract isn't up until June 2029 so I doubt Forest are too worried about any "Anderson the Rat" situation.
  15. Maybe he just isn't bothered any more because he's getting paid his £180,000/week, but he looks and sounds acutely depressed if not near-suicidal in that interview.
  16. To play 86 minutes and only touch the ball 14 times -- i.e. once every six minutes on average -- is remarkable (whether it was his fault or not). If the ball is passed to you and you take one touch to control it, one to move it forward and then one more to pass it to a teammate, that's three. So he didn't even manage to do that five times in 86 minutes.
  17. Unfortunately losing points from late goals/goalkeeper fuckups in tight games is our new identity.
