I wouldn't mind seeing him eased back into the team with a couple of sub appearances until he is 100% fit, the team has played very well in the last two games and we have no need to make changes to accommodate him straight away. Had we lost the last two games i would have thrown him straight back in however.

MON is good at building hard working British based sides with limited ability, so he'll fit right in there. It's bad luck that a Geordie lad has to sign for the pondlife, but sadly he just wasn't good enough for us to warrant a bid. The problem with him being a Geordie is that if he has a couple of poor games, he will be another useless 'Mag Kernt', similar to the way Bruce was when he managed them. He will always have that hanging over him with the fans IMO.

Would have him as a sub, to help close out games, covering Santon which he does very well. However he offers very little going forward now and that is the most important aspect of the position he plays, hopefully Marv is fit asap.
