What an absolute f***ing creep. He blocked me yesterday after I called him out on what he posted (then removed) about the poor f***er that died underneath the Tyne Bridge. I didn’t sign up to the NUST when he was so heavily involved with it. I don’t think we can have a supporters group with someone so vocal about it that attempts to make it about them as often as he did. The desperation to pretend he’s got the inside track on things and is some sort of connected super fan really boils my piss. I’ve heard he’s actually a nice guy but his online persona doesn’t come across well.

Yea I think he’s awful. If we’re signing Hendrick for competition to Shelvey and Hayden signing Davies is only going to hinder Longstaff(s). Would rather we signed a couple of squad players on loan and blew the full budget on a striker.

Really struggling to see how anyone is blaming Staveley in all of this. I genuinely believe she’d be the perfect custodian to take us but it isn’t to be, again.

The Premier League have shown their hand, Ashley’s position is clear as is the position of both Staveley and the Reuben brothers. The ball is in the court of the party who’s been the quietest in all of this and it’s sadly telling.

We will like. f***ing no chance Rod mate. The teams who finished below us but survived are going to get stronger, while we stand still at best. Leeds will stay up. It’ll be us plus WBA & Fulham. I think it’ll be really hard for the promoted clubs to stay up with such a short turnaround. Leeds aside maybe. That’s the only way I can see us staying up unless we add a couple of signings.

Knowing all of this have PIF just withdrawn to save face given it would he likely there attempt would be rejected? I’m also not entirely clear why it’s taken the Premier League so long to make this statement. Surely it could have been done in the following days.

Also, I’m petition the forum to temporary ban anyone who claims to have “sources”, “getting updates”, “hearing positive noises”, “knows someone who has a contact close to the deal” or any other absolute bollocky nonsense like that ever again.

This is where I’ve landed after that letter. The PL have made it difficult for it to happen and for whatever reason PIF have decided it isn’t worth it or aren’t conceding ground. Who’s more to blame out of the two is anyone’s guess. I was so close to being back in on this deal today assuming something positive might be taking place behind the scenes but that’s put a full stop on the end of it for me.
