I would say there's literally no chance whatsoever of that happening. That does fascinate. The thought of Pardew having full control of transfers, I would think we would actually be higher in the league than we are now. In terms of style .. Well it would be no worse than the s*** he dishes out right now. He would sign the right players for his route one bore fest . Sort of mid table mediocrity at best but in a better place than where we are now. But our player would be worth next to nothing in market value and the results would worsen over time as well because route one football isn't hard to counter act. Look at Stoke this season and West Ham gradually declining as the season has wore on. Yes it would be damaging in the long run, but I was thinking perversely , we would probably be higher in the league than we are now if only by just a few places. Strange but probrable. Not that I would want him to be in control of transfers. f*** me that gives me the shivers. The man that preferred Mullins over mascherano, and harewood over tevez. More on principle than anything else. Both players were signed above his head and he didnt like it. Keegan walked for the exact same thing. The deals were also against the law. Against the law? Lol He basically cut his nose off to spite his own face the dumb cockney t***. It was, third party ownership, worst ham had to pay Sheff utd something like £20m due to them being relegated in their place. (Tevez scored the winner against manu to keep them up irrc on the last day of the season) To be fair to Pardew, 3rd party ownership got f*** all to do with him. Means to an end. I know who got the better deal. Aye, tevez, masch and their agent. And west ham, including the fine, money well spent.

Looks like we are training inside st james. Top secret tactics introduced to the field. I take it the man that put up boards to keep spies out at the training ground has gone on holiday or something?

Still don't get this "Pardew is a PR guru" stuff. The man is rubbish at interviews. Very uninspiring run of the mill rent-a-quote. Winning or losing. He is a pr guru in terms of keeping the press quiet on his shitty sad excuse of a performances as a manager. Any other season with us in our league position now, the press would be all over it .
-
What's all this about? Is it a thinly veiled dig at the fans or... genuinely a bit confused like. Everything is wrong with those lines, first of all we were not fucking strong vs benfica, 2nd is he really taking the piss, he probably think the press would buy that, oh wait they have.
-
Complete disgrace if colo leaves before this twat.
-
Lets stop digging up old news, think most of us knew about his shitty history, that's why were bemused by the appointment in the first place. Most were willing to give him the benefit of the doubt anyway and hoping he might had finally learned from his past and even improved. Like the old saying a leopard never changes its spots. He is who he is, a complete turd.
-
Bringing in a new coach? Basically admitting that the current manager knows f*** all about coaching. Pointless in my opinion as any coach will ultimately be instructed and influenced by the turd. Just bring us a new manager.

if there's grass on the pitch, play ball?

From The Luke Edwards article above. There's definitely some journos getting a bit antsy with 4 games to go. a bit fucking late arent they? these articles should have been up many months ago.
-
get callers in aint it? typical troll commercial station
-
it got nothing to do with evra's situation.
-
So do I, if it wasn't for appointing Souness he could have been brilliant for us. oh come on Mick he was only ever interested in our pies.

Not trying to change anybody's mind, just Kluivert's a very poor example of what you're trying to convey about the FS era. Kluivert was a very good footballer and getting him was an astute piece of business given his pedigree and what we needed at the time - a replacement for Shearer. He could and should have been a success here. He was overweight, over paid and over here just to top up his pension. Surely just the type of player we didn't need then, and will never be interested in again under the current regime. yep exactly, another pie eater like viduka.

hate that tosser durham
-
bite was not that bad, wasnt even a love bite. hardly career threatening, he clearly did it to try and get ivanovic sent off expecting a big reaction in return. not the first to try and get another fellow player sent off.
-
wish we had a player like him, bite or no bite lol minus the rascist rants.
-
no doubt biting in the game of football is bad for the image of the Premier league. but like many have said, as dangerous that bite was compared to the tackle on hairdara? As much as i hate the rat, 10 game is harsh.

I'd have it back now. Really? They were some good times to be fair, spunked a lot of money on fatties like kluivert and such but wasn't all bad. Whilst Ashley's plan is far more sustainable long term, it would be decent to see Fat Fred spunking loads of cash on Mourinho/Falcoa etc. But yeah like you say Ashley's is more sustainable. Just nice to be a force at times. I like it that we don't spent silly money for players that are past it or just want to join for money. Also, to only go for players that have the right age seems right to me. Still, think exceptions should be made. For example, I think we should have gone for Berbatov the moment he stated his desire to leave Man Utd. How much was it? 8 million? Top, top player. Can carry a team on his own at times. Can carry a team at times but also a passenger a lot of times. I like him too, but another player that couldnt look more like a fish out of water under the style of Pardew's team.
