  1. Seriously, more look-at-me-style management again from Pardew the self promoting arrogance of his , winds me up no ends. Basically reading between the lines he wants everyone to know he had a word with Colo before the game to shore up the defence and it worked so Pardew is a genius , just like how his post match interview he wanted people to know that his subs worked magnificently whilst ignoring the fact he put the wrong side out in the beginning. Bet there was hardly that much drama between Colo and Pardew, but he had to let everyone know about it to spice up the interview, give me a break Pardew, this is really just desperate stuff and completely unnecessary.
  2. Eh ? disgraceful reaction. His reaction was perfectly fair imo, what Williams did was wrong. Only downside was it didn't take RVP's head clean off. Fair maybe but his reaction is a sending off offence , law of the game , players have gone for far less. Maybe Williams kick was also a red card.
  3. Complaining about playing long ball is nothing. Means a lot to me, Long ball is what i hate most, along with diving in football. Hope the players have had a right go. long ball is ok in moderation, it's the way we been going on about it, counting out the last handful of games, it's just been launch after launch like 90 percent of long balls its only so much the players and the fans can take when there's no rewards whatsoever from it, and the fact it's taken Pardew this long to make changes is alarming to say the least.
  4. Fergie spouting bullshit to distract the attention away from the fact that Rvp should be banned for that over reaction raising his arms and fergie knows it. Sly old dog. Once again man united gets away with it, one rule for man united another for the rest of the league. It's worked though, we are all talking about the murder commited by swansea's henceman instead of rvp's disgraceful reaction.
  5. works pretty good smash it to shola for the flick on. 3-0 to the toon.
  6. Doesn't explain why we played 2 up front for most of the season until the last few games. You can't be this stupid. it explains perfectly why he played them both uptop, becuase he's scared of losing the goal threat of Ba. WBA (A) 3-1 Liverpool (H) 2-0 Swansea (A) 2-0 Bolton (H) 2-0 Stoke (H) 3-0 Playing 433 (or a variation on it) with Cisse central and Ba on the left - 15 points, 12 goals scored, 1 goal conceded. I doubt Pardew cares who scores the goals. If you think Ba hasn't had a word and that hasn't influenced Pardew then you're... well you're very naive, ironically enough. i think you are misunderstanding what im saying, i dont doubt Ba has made his displeasure about playing out wide, im saying its up to pardew to put him out wide if he wants to., its down to him. A good manager can do that. Well clearly he has a choice, however the choices he's making are very clearly based on the wishes of one player. They're both to blame. However, your original post says that we're only playing this way due to Pardew's tactical cluelessness and it's nothing to do with a fear of upsetting Ba, so you're basically completely changing your story and accusing me of not understanding your point now. no no, im saying is even if Ba and Pardew has some type of agreement to play him out top, Pardew will break it at some point and not honor that. He would not hesitate to to play Ba outwide once his goals dries up. I am certain of that. Once Ba stop scoring in a succession of games Ba will be flung out on the wings when Pardew decides to play 4-5-1 / 4-3-3 , just like he did to Cisse. Im saying here is this situation is less about player power and more about the ineptitude of the manager.

  8. Cisse has played 4 (?) games out there and kicked off when he was subbed. Bit early to proclaim he would play anywhere for the team and Ba is the devil Not what I am saying, he was not happy being subbed does that mean he was not happy on the wing ? Was he angry that he seen it was Shola coming on and knew the system would change so Shola could play central? I did not see a player p*ssed off to be playing wide jut a layer who wanted to be on the pitch. My thoughts on Ba come from what was said by him or his people about him not wanting to play on the left, its not like he was a winger same for Cisse its wide of a front three not a midfield four. Its obvious they had been asked to alternate so both had a chance of playing the central striker role. I would be gutted if Demba left us see him as a great player but we need him to be a great team player and I don't think he is that. I am p*ssed off that it seems Pardew is doing what he can do to accommodate Ba and not just telling him to play wide left for a spell and see if it helps the team. it's Pardew's lack of imagination thats worrying. If he's not willing to put Ba on the wing, then why not try playing two wide men either side of Ba, or play two wide men either side of Cisse. and I don't mean sticking a striker out as a wide man. It's these things he hasn't tried enough. it his pure arrogance and it always takes the shit to hit the fan before he makes real changes.

  10. look i believe for what its worth (fuck all) that Ba is playing up top simply because of Pardew's short sighted reliance on cheap stats. He see Cisse not scoring much, off form, therefore he can't play upfront on his own. Thus no Ba out on the left, Ba must play upfront. It's that simple, I don't believe he scared of Ba and his agent throwing another strop. He's scared the goals will dry up if Ba is not playing upfront.
  11. This whole bullshit about Ba wanting to play where or what has got to stop, honestly our fans are going on like old women. It's up to the manager where he wants to play his players, it's all down to the manager, players can have their preference and such but its f*** all to do with them, they are there to do what the coach tells him to do. and by the way some people so f***ing naive to believe that Ba not playing out wide is because he and Pardew has some sort of agreement. wake up. Pardew is last man you would rely on to honor such nonsense, he f***ing shagged half the team's wives back down southampton, he sold a load of old bullshit to hba and cabaye about his team playing good football only have them hoofing it around for over a year and a half. I dont blame Ba or any players when i don't see them at a position they can be acustomed to. It's down to the manager to have the man management skills to persuade a player where he wants him to play and get a performance out of him in that area, and right now Pardew has failed miserably.
  12. Some interesting stuff , am I putting that on the wrong topic ? hmm there's only two native spanish speakers in our first team, but did notice, Jonas getting faustrated last game, when he was waving his arms about asking for more support, thought there some aggro between Santon and Jonas but thats between italian and spanish.
  13. And i hate the way commentators and pundits say "ahh its just Scholes, he cant tackle anyway". No he can't but he goes in like a nasty c*** and you wankers never slate him for it. i know, worst is when they say, "oh he's not that type of guy"
  14. not sure. not sure there's any players from swansea that would do particularly well in a hoof team like ours.
  15. it's odd that you look at swansea's team, individually you can't really pick out who's particularly gifted technically, Michu perhaps. All the rest are decent players but it's just that they have a way of playing thats so ingrained in their play which really suits them all as a team. You got to give credit to their chairman who seem to really have picked the right guy again to carry off the philosophy of what was started by previous managers they had.
  16. Makes me laugh when last year the press were going on about Pardew for England, He even said he would fancy it one day hahaha yeah you keep them coming Pardew.
  17. We started the season with everyone fit. We played a rigid 4-4-2 week after week and looked shocking the vast majority of the time. We got the results we deserved and the players lost confidence, then we got some injuries to compound that effect. We are where we are because of the way Pardew approached this season.
  18. exactly, he didnt have a clue what to do with him and sold him off
  19. Same goes for Roeder, he use to drop Emre deep and let Parker bomb forward, completely retarded tactics. Thought Parker was immense under Souness and was gutted when we sold him, up yours fat Sam. I was delighted and still am. Such a limited footballer. limited footballer? was Tiote a limited footballer for us last season? Parker is a defensive midfielder and in that role he was class for us. Shame Roeder and fat Sam didn't have a clue what to do with him.
  20. Probably most of the players they signed are either young or has never played in the prem. Takes time for those types of players to bed in.
