theres me been saying he should be benched, and met with moronic responses such as. "hows that going to help him" well playing him is not helping the team, deserves to be dropped. he's been a joke.

better ball skills are you sure? how many f***ing times have one of our players played a simply pass and the receiver of the ball fails to control it. too many f***ing times, why is that? probably because the player who made the pass cant even pass wind or the receiver can't control the ball to save his life , probably both. after watching that shower of shyte now i know why pardew likes the long ball, because our players cant pass water even under no pressure what so ever. worst of all we're not that much better at long balls, is there one of our players capable of a cross in the last third of the pitch, f***ing havent seen it for a while. f*** off pardew you tosser Definition of TeamWork - The combined action of a group of people, esp. when effective and efficient The process of working collaboratively with a group of people in order to achieve a goal But guess who teaches or coaches the teamwork into the team. Quality what? wtf?

lads its fucking horrible, really finding it hard to watch our own team these days. what did Einstein say, if you try the same shyt everytime and you expect a different result , thats the definition of madness.

not excusing him for having a s*** game but our back four just didn't keep their shape. both centre backs we forced to play a bit further up than normal due to both our centre midfield tiote and bigi pushing too far up the pitch leaving massive gaps. both bigi and tiote were s*** as well.

to me he's like Vuckic, they're a pair of flowers. technically very gifted, but my biggest problem with these players when there's any danger of having to make contact with another player they sh1t themselves. How many times have I seen this boy run to close down an opponent and when he gets near the opponent he soon slows down and then wait for the man to pass the ball away. What is the f***ing point of even closing down your opponent if you're not going do jack sh1t! I dont give a flying f*** if he's not a defender, all players must commit them selves! Jesus christ just watch Lionel Messi when his team don't have ball he breaks his neck to close down and stick a toe end in, tries to win the ball back, that is the least you expect from a professional footballer. You dont have to slide all over the place with lunging flying tackles, thats not what im asking. Just get your toe end near the ball at least, don't even have to make contact with the opponent. You're not going to survive in this game at the top level if run around like a tart. if this boy can get his act together and grow half a ballsack he would be a hell of a player. thats the most faustrating thing with these types of players.

i did notice Colo charged out a lot during that game to close down the scouse attack, which left a huge gaping hole in our defence many times, whether that was due to his personal faustrations or Pardew's tactics i don't know for certain.

Eh? By asking to play in Cisse's position to the detriment of the team? Wrong by being joint top scorer of the league as of last week. Given their current form and if we are to play 4-3-3, I'd much rather have Demba as the focal point and Cisse on the left and the opposite was true last season when Cisse was on fire. It's simple really, the on form striker gets to play in the middle, that way the team benefit from an inform striker, has higher chances of scoring and introduce some healthy competition between Ba and Cisse. my point is: cisse play central striker or he doesn´t play. Its the only position he can play imo. To put him on the left or right is a joke....might as well but willo there (that could actually be funny). We have better options than cisse on the flanks. all im saying is ba can actually do a decent/good job on the LW and improve us atm where cisse can only play one position. Im only arguing this coz it would make us better in some matches to play both at the same time and not side by side on top (which isn´t the answer). I agree Ba was better at LW than Cissé is. Cissé gives the impression of not having much to his game other than movement and finishing, which is only suitable in a central striking role. I just don't think Ba was anything special at LW. Some seem to think he was actually an asset, but I'd rather have Ferguson, Marveaux or Sammy out there. Among Swedish journalists there is this widespread myth about Ba having so much success and getting loads of assist from LW last spring. I remember him having about one assist and being subbed in most games, often looking disappointed and angry. He transformed those reactions into good performances after the summer. My point from the start was this: Pardew will face an even more difficult situation the day he accepts and realises that Ba and Cissé together are not for the benefit of the team. The question is who he chooses in the long run and what reaction we get from the other one. from the outside it looks so simple, simply bench Cisse and use Ba to spearhead the attack , Ba is scoring regardless of the limited chances the team is carving out at the moment for him, Cisse is not scoring. Not only that, Ba also has a release clause, so it pays dividends to play Ba, keep him sweet. Cisse to the best of our knowledge does not have a release clause, even if he does , there don't seem to be much interest in a half a season wonder player at the moment. Besides he still has a very long contract left with us, there's no danger in losing him to another team. And i dont particularly like the way he smiles and grins when he misses a sitter and a penalty kick during a match. We have many many games left, Cisse will get his chances to play, not saying to bench him indefinitely. But from the outside it looks simple like that, but we don't know if Pardew is under any pressure to play Cisse, due to the fact they worked very hard to tie the deal paying 8-10 million for this boy. A lot of money in the eyes of Derek and Mike.

he's a give and take player. you try to forgive him for his lack of ability on the ball but you take the fact that he's actually good at defending. this guy automatically turns into a turd as he run pass the halfway line which really is a shame, because he's a good defender. he lacks composure on the ball, he can't pass, can't cross, i believe he must have watched Gary neville a lot during his time at man utd, thats why simpson tries to imitate that early cross ball from deep. Gary Neville was an excellent crosser, he could cross a ball anywhere between the byline or nearer to the halfway line. Simpson could never develop that ability on the ball and that is ultimately why Fergie shipped him out.

It is but Ba will never play on the left again that much is obvious. We really have two options....A. We get a Wide player with a goal threat and rotate Ba and Cisse for the central striking spot B. Sell one of them still get that wide player and a back up to who ever stays. It's quite obvious Cisse out wide obviously doesn't work and it's also quite obvious Cisse and Ba as a front 2 doesn't work the only formula that has proven to work is Ba out wide and Cisse through the middle and it seems Ba doesn't want to do that role anymore so we find ourselves struggling with a working formula that fits the both of them and doesn't effect the rest of the team. I vote for option A but Pardew will have to be exceedingly clever to pull that off the longer this goes on the phrase " This Town aint big enough for the both of us" comes to mind hopefully we can find a happy medium which suits Ba, Cisse and the team because at the moment it isn't working. agree. Option A i like. We still have players like sammy, marveaux and ferguson and maybe more who could play LW. But think we need more quality there....more of a goal threat. Ba can´t expect to play every minute in his favorite position anywhere (should it be here or elsewhere). If he cant share the position with cisse then we will have a problem. If he wants to go to a bigger club then competition for his favorite position will only get tougher imo. Pardew needs to adress this.....maybe after ba signs a new contract theres not a lot to address really, simply bench Cisse, i dont know where in pardew's managerial notebook that says he has to play both Ba and Cisse. Besides, Cisse been completely out of sorts recently, not only is his finishing a bit off, he looks lethargic, benching him is not exactly undeserved. bench cisse is not constructive as i see it. scoring is what will get him back on track. And who will you play on the left? The formation and line up i suggested i think could be pur strongest at the moment. We do not create enough and therefore cisse is struggling is think + lack of form. not a fan of ba on the LW, but fan enough to think it could improve us at the moment and in some matches. we have like over 30 whatever matches to run, we dont need to shoe-horn Cisse and Ba into the starting line-up, they will get enough games, there will be suspensions, injuries and dips in form.
-
it is an issue but the bigger issue is Pardew is not giving them enough chances, he's only willing to start Fergie and Sammi in the europa, these type of players needs their chances in the prem and deserve it considering how they perform every time they come on. It's unfair to say they cant create enough chances or they're not a threat to the oppositions when they haven't had the opportunity.
-
i agree apart from the fundamental mistakes he made in this match, he was still decent, he's allowed the odd bad game.

this is definitely not the answer, not for Pardew thats for sure. Pardew is all about shape, especially in the back four, and he would not even sleep at night having thoughts of both of his fullbacks with the license to roam forward leaving the chance of the flanks and centre of defense being exposed in any shape or form.
-
im really shocked that some people are still advocating for Ba to be out wide, in a 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 formation. he did relatively ok last season playing a few games out there. But seriously Ba and Cisse are pure finishers , poachers type striker, you do not stick neither of them outwide, it is not the answer. It's like playing Michael Owen or a Gary Lineker or Inzaghi or even Alan shearer out wide, you just don't do it. its a waste. Besides being a waste. You need your wide men to be accustomed to working up and down the flanks, joining in attack and midfield You wont get that from Ba or Cisse. They both played most of their career upfront and their instinct and nature of play is hanging off the shoulder of the last defender, they'r simply not the type of forward players you want out wide.

you know at barcelona , there's a little training regime they use, im sure many would have heard about it. the 6 second rule. when they lose the ball , they get 6 seconds to win it back. this is a team full of individuals just as technical and more even than gifted as HBA,. you only have to watch them play live, everyone of their outfield players break their balls to win the ball back, and i wouldn't call them having ten tough tackling individuals, but the hunger is there to win the ball. ok granted they dont lose the ball that often lol but the point is, all their players regardless of position ,when the ball is lost, they all get busy and commit!
-
wtf do you want HBA to do, when your team is defending and under the cosh from the opposition, just let HBA run around trying to look busy making no attempt and having no desire to win the ball back? all because " im suppose to be an attacking player" what kind of excuse is that? so players that get played outwide aerent suppose to help out and track back? when the team is under pressure? and dont forget, when he did have the ball today he did jack s*** with it apart losing it from hogging the ball to long, he had team mates beside him waiting, begging for him to make that simple pass to them. What did Laurent Robert do "when your team is defending and under the cosh from the opposition"... f*** all. Even Bobby Robson said it was a bit annoying but what he gave us going forward more than made up for it. Now I'm not for a second suggesting that Ben Arfa should be as lax defending as Robert was, but surely Pardew can find a happy medium in there somewhere? At the moment he is being completely wasted. laurent Robert you use him as an example? Happy medium how? ok you're Alan Pardew, and Danny Simpson is getting smashed, pillaged, over-run by 2 lfc players their left wing leftback. "Hey dont worry Hatem you just let your 9 outfield teamates run their socks off and get their shorts dirty. but you boy you just stay up there and wait for the ball to come to you because you're so special, like Laurent Robert under Sir bobby" do me a favour. Wasn't he meant to be playing as a wide forward? He shouldn't have to be doing any defending at all from that position. A 4-3-3 should turn into a 4-5-1 when defending. So yes - he should be defending. No winger should let the opposition full back and winger double up on your own full back. He was not playing as a winger, that's what I just said. I can't say I've noticed Hazard, Podolski, Gervinho, Silva, Tevez, Oscar, Walcott or any of the other wide forwards in the Premier League spending most of the game on the edge of their own box doubling up on another team's wide forward, you've obviously been paying more attention than me. those players you mentioned dont always play out wide, silva, tevez, podolski hazard has had their fair share of games through the centre , as for the others thats on your exclusive list, are players playing in teams that can keep the ball all day long. we cannot keep the ball. the arsenal widemen you mentioned arent exactly great examples considering their modest season they are having so far.

Wasn't he meant to be playing as a wide forward? He shouldn't have to be doing any defending at all from that position. thats so ridiculous, wide forward are not allowed to fall back and defend? that is exactly what they should do when their own team is under the gun. 4-3-3 automatically becomes 4-5-1 when your team need to defend as wide fowards of the front 3 joins the midfield. this is not something pardew invented, trust me. another example, how many times did Demba Ba came back to defend our corners, freekicks etc? he was in our own box and he successfully cut out more balls than our fullbacks. so because he's a striker he shouldn't be near our own penalty box, football is a team game, when you defend you defend as a team.
