  1. regardless of formations and starting line-up, or style of play through a lot of last and the whole of this current season in the prem is play deep and hit teams on the counter with hoof balls. is that down to lack of quality players or Pardew? I wonder.
  2. Got nothing to do with Ba, Pardew is the manager if he wants to play him there he will, and anyway playing Ba out wide is not the answer to our problems.
  3. if you think solely getting a better right back will change the entire team, you in for a rude awakening. I don't, so I'm not. I just think Pardew is more likely to allow the midfielders to pass and move out of their starting positions if we've got a more capable defence. what? one new right back and that will make pardew "allow the midfielders to pass and move out of their starting positions if we've got a more capable defence." i hardly think one right back and will change the entire defence, so the other 3 defenders in our back four are so incapable that one new fullback will solve the problem for our midfield? im not getting where you're coming from.

  5. exactly, the players were not looking for each other because they so stuck in that hoof ball mentality. the hoof ball mentality of keeping your shape which in our case is each player staying as far apart from one another as possible. so when we do get the ball hoof it long as we have no one close to pass to.
  6. He'll say WBA are a good side who worked hard that we're tired from Euro and no preperation and our 'spirit' got us through. There will be absolutely no mention of tactics. ive heard him say that, about not having enough prep for sunday games, really? last two europa league games were at home, not like we had to travel far and the following sundays were both s**** performances yes but from his pov where last year he had normally a week to fully prepare the side and plenty of articles where he had plenty of analysis of the opposition in training and drilled it into the players, compare that to 1 day of proper training (rest days after matchs are par for the course) and it is a different proposition regardless of players being rested yeh but what, bullsh1t, you telling me we never played on a wednesday and then a saturday in the same week?

  8. what tactics? if you call players staying as far apart from each other as possible and hitting the ball long soon as they see it, treating it like a hot potato then ok.
  9. players played out of position, the one you mentioned, jonas played ina centre three, never a good idea, shola being played as a winger again never a good idea. i said so many times pardew has an obsession with shoe horning two tall strikers in his line-ups, he tends to place these big strikers like Ba, Shola, Cisse and Leon Best out wide, when he does decide to play 4-5-1/4-3-3 why? only he knows.
  10. i still have to open the windows because to be honest that performance stunk real bad.
  11. we will qualify for champs league ! luck of champions that was. play bad and win!
  12. Not been his usual self atall last couple games I think he's had to adapt to Shola being in there instead of Cisse. Demands different things from him. bollocks he's been just as shit in the 2nd half
  13. fcuking hell with these comments i would had thought we were losing.
  14. actually prefer shola in there rather than have cisse and ba Listen to yourself man. im serious, shola partnering either ba or cisse is way better than the two senegalese together imo.
  15. actually prefer shola in there rather than have cisse and ba
  16. Missed the line up only with one player. For those of you calling me names.. lets give this guy a medal
  17. i think anita sees himself more of a defensive midfielder, such as the tiote role. last night he and tiote were stepping on each other's toes.
  18. that is true, he still needs to work on his game at Prem level. because in europe, fullbacks gives you a lot more space and time on the ball. but he has played very well so far.
  19. sammi was Gazza-esqe style in that midfield then the ball to Oberdong
