exactly, the players were not looking for each other because they so stuck in that hoof ball mentality. the hoof ball mentality of keeping your shape which in our case is each player staying as far apart from one another as possible. so when we do get the ball hoof it long as we have no one close to pass to.

players played out of position, the one you mentioned, jonas played ina centre three, never a good idea, shola being played as a winger again never a good idea. i said so many times pardew has an obsession with shoe horning two tall strikers in his line-ups, he tends to place these big strikers like Ba, Shola, Cisse and Leon Best out wide, when he does decide to play 4-5-1/4-3-3 why? only he knows.

i think anita sees himself more of a defensive midfielder, such as the tiote role. last night he and tiote were stepping on each other's toes.

that is true, he still needs to work on his game at Prem level. because in europe, fullbacks gives you a lot more space and time on the ball. but he has played very well so far.
