If he wants to stay, then i say move on to other targets..... i dont want this becoming a saga and dragging on all summer( thus effecting other targets.)

10m seems a bit much to spend on someone who wont be a certain starter tbh..... unless Ashley has gone nuts of course. I really hope Ashley has lost his s*** and is just bidding for players left right and centre There has to be a balance... it's ok spending money on the right players but we need keep a stranglehood on our finances in the pursuit of success we cant go nuts.... we tried doing that under Shepherd and it did'nt exactly prove fruitful. Also what is it with The Mail and our transfers? does Pardew work for them or something

I think the reason Pardew want's players like De Jong is because of his versatility.... he can play wide, he can play off the main striker as well as the main man. As well as i think Pardew wants to have 2 goalscorers on the pitch at all times so he fits the bill of what he wants. The reason i think its 4-3-3 is because of the players we have in the squad.... it fits 4-3-3 or a variation of it more than 4-4-2 although your right about Pardew being a 4-4-2 man.

Hope we don't like. I've not seen much (apart from Dennis Wise style) of De Jong but I can't see us not playing 2 £8m+ strikers if both fit and available. He can and probably will play wide in a 4-3-3 and CF when Cisse goes to AFCON...... i doubt we would sign a midfielder who has never played in 4-4-2 in his life in Almafitano and been linked with DM's all summer if we were going to play 4-4-2. I cant see any outcome apart from 4-3-3 or a variation of it.

They wont get that and they know it, they are just being difficult in the hope someone comes in and offers more than we do..... What, like us? Strategy seems to be working well so far. Yeah tbf their strategy is a lot like how we deal with transfers.... maybe we have met our match

There's a serious issue with the mental state of this generations German players, if Bayern and Germany both lose their penalty shootouts in a space of a month.

I think so too, i have faith we will be calling him Obermars this time next year.

Do i need to bring up Shola's goal's and assist's per minute ratio ? Or cycling ability? I must confess i forgot abut Shola's ability on 2 wheels.... i suppose we could also bring up Shola's basketball talents and scaring every Mackem world wide.

True, but if they actually performed as a team and not as individuals he would perform a lot better.....Dropping Nasri i understand because there are better players and he's an overrated ego-maniac but Ribery is one of Frances best players if not their best. It would be like us dropping Rooney if he were to perform poorly.....
-
France dropping Ribery would be like Spain dropping Iniesta ffs

Quite simple really what they should do if 2 striker's is'nt a possible solution..... copy our 4-3-3 with Diarra (Tiote) M'Vila(Jonas) Cabaye.... HBA/Menez Benzema(Cisse) Ribery(Ba).... Blanc wont do it though, it does make sense though they have no real #10 to make the difference like Platini and Zidane did in the past but a plentify of solid midfielders and fast, tricky wingers.... might as well use them instead of trying your hardest to look for someone to fulfill a #10 role which really doesnt need to be fulfilled.

I would take Flamini if his wages was'nt so high.

Thing is Man Utd actually stop teams from playing and creating chances with this tactic though...... can you honestly say against Ukraine and Sweden we stopped them from creating chances? As i said it doesnt matter but its something to take note of because giving those chances against better opposition will lead to elimination.

Most of time i think he just uses cute turns to create space and explodes away.... he's a lot quicker than he seems when dribbling and the other thing is he seems a master of using his low centre of gravity and how he positions his body to escape players despite not being very strong. Messi is a master of this as well, bumping off players 3 times his size due to how he positions his body and how he dribbles and moves. Messi is obviously stronger than Iniesta but i feel they both use similar techniques to get past taller and stronger opponents.

Amazing how many times Iniesta get's into positions like that and comes out with the ball.... what a player the closest thing we have today to Zidane.
