I did say france game aside tbf..... but i felt against Sweden and Ukraine we gave away too many chances definitely more than we were able to create. Maybe outplayed is too a strong a term but i definitely feel those teams had the better of it but luckily they were no where near as clinical as we have been. We remind me a lot of Chelsea tbh, we seem to give up a lot of chances despite defending so deep but we seem to be very clinical. I'm not complaining tbh as long we keep winning it doesnt matter but i do understand where HTT is coming from.

Dunno we were reasonably lucky in all 3 games, we havent stopped teams from playing ( France game aside) we have just been very clinical and been fortunate the teams in question didnt take the chances they got. Does'nt matter as we are winning games, but we have been outplayed in pretty much every game.....

Probably would be an alternative to De Jong if we cant agree a fee.... also Talkshite are linking us with Alvaro Morata again although i reckon he would replace Best more than Ba. ( if it is true that is, considering the source it probably is'nt.)

He was fantastic against Holland.... dat pass to Gomez I think Schweignsteiger has been great in all his games tbh i would'nt pick him for who he is tbh if he's performances were shat..... you do bring a good point up about stand out performance though.... I dont think there's been many stand out performances at this Euro, but lots of consistently good ones, with some fantastic ones sprinkled here and there.

I have gone on other forums who have no Newcastle ties at all and majority are putting Cabaye in the middle.... tbf he was very impressive in the first 2 games he played and France sorely missed him against Sweden. Cabaye love-in aside he was being very good tbh. Forget about Mandzukic

Sorry but am not having any best XI without Iniesta He was fantastic in the first game, but i thought he was pretty poor against Ireland and Croatia..... Silva has been better than him this tournament IMO. Poor? I thought he's been fantastic in all 3. Maybe poor is unfair, but he did'nt impress a great deal in the two games and seemed to be on the edge of the game rather than taking control of it like he did against Italy. I felt over the 3 games that Silva was better.

Would be typical us put bids in for Anita, Debuchy and De Jong.... reportedly ended our interest Mbiwa and we go and sign him

I think Sky have got confused lol, because most dutch sources say they want 15 million euros not £15m which equates to about 12.5 million pounds and i wouldnt be suprised if they could haggled down to around 10m. I'm still confident about this.

I think we would pay that as well. didn't pay much less for Santon I think so yeah very possible we'd pay that but obvious we're chancing our arms at a lower fee I think we do it with every signing we try to make tbf.....the Luuk De Jong offer is below thier value, Cisse was below thier value, Ben Arfa was etc etc. It's just smart negotiating start low and just go from there.... much rather that then do what some other clubs do and pay more than what a club wants just because they can.
