Lahm plays in Debuchy's position and Debuchy wont want to be no ones back up and they wont switch Lahm over to fit him in because it will stunt the growth of the promising Alaba. All in all i wouldn't be worried by their rumored interest because i doubt either is legitimate.

If thats the case the need for deep pockets just got bigger..... sorting out the attack and midfield is a big enough problem but to get a CB that will actually be on a good enough level to maintain their defensive solidity that they had for most of the season will be very difficult.... I like Javi Marquez.... comfortable in possession and accurate passer and defensively decent i think he would be a good player for us in a 3 man midfield role and probably better at keeping the ball than any of our current midfielders.

As for the Sagna comparison they are different players..... I'd argue Debuchy is more complete than Sagna and what i mean by that is i think he's better going forward and better in possession and also good in defence.... He's not as good as Sagna in defence but that's Sagna's speciality and quite frankly defensively theres not many fullbacks in world football that are better than Sagna.... doesnt mean Debuchy is defensively poor though he's great in all areas thats why i said he's complete.... it's just Sagna happens to be better than him in this one area. But seeing as i prefer my fullbacks to be able to provide an attacking outlet and be comfortable in possession while remaining solid defensively i prefer Debuchy.

There is no better left-backs for us out there. Both Cissikho and Pieters seems like s*** and has done for a long time. you sure they are the only available left backs ? There's a lot more quality RB's around than there are LB's that is probably why we are pursuing RB's instead and leaving Santon at LB. Said before seeing as Santon is quality on both sides i think we should just try and get the best fullback possible irrelevant of what side he plays and it seems like theres higher quality RB's available than LB's..... That doesn't just go just for us but the world, there seems to be more RB's being produced than LB's.

He didnt quite say that.... he said he set up a special plan to get at the West Brom back 4 because he defends the middle of the pitch very well but is weak down the sides and we exploited that. Personally dont like him and think we can do A LOT better but if he does join he will be like everyone else i will support him to the hills.

11. In 104 games i dont know why people would be so happy with him for..... he's a definite downgrade on Guthrie. Completely different kind of players. Guthrie has a better passing range but Mulumbu is a much more energetic box to box footballer. I get that but if thats the type of player you want i reckon we can get alot better than Mulumbu.....
