No axe to grind with him, he's leaving for the right reasons and he's being totally honest about it (provided that twitter thing is legit). He's a decent footballer and can understand his position. I personally like him as a player and think he could have a role to play with all the competitions we have to take part in next season but if he wants to leave and get consistent game time then good luck to him....

He was a protege of Sir Bobby ffs have some respect But seriously i think it was because of his success at Porto and i do think he's a good manager.... just tried to change too much too soon at Chelsea unfortunately. Hmm. Done well at Porto, but isnt it as competitive as the Scottish League? Fair play with the Europa League. f***ed up monumentally at Chelski though. What do you like about him as a manager? I just like the way he got that Porto team to play in the Europa League and think he could do a similar job at another big club if given the tools and the the time to complete the project..... i do think he would have turned Chelsea around for the better eventually if he was given time..... The mistake he made was trying to get rid of the old guys too quickly, he was naive but i do think theres a good manager in there although its a possibility he might be only able to get his teams to play one way. Which would be a disappointment but hopefully he proves me wrong in that regard.

I dont think the size of the squad is necessarily the issue.... more so the squad has too many "fillers" and not enough quality..... when you look at the numbers its a big squad just full of players who are not really up to the job. And seeing as midfield is the topic of discussion at the moment i do genuinely believe if Marveaux can prove his fitness and Vuckic and Abeid giving more minutes and signings like Butterfield and Amalfantino i dont think think we need anything more in midfield..... Isn't this what i said as well? The squad needs to get bigger than now, and above all more quality in depth. I do think we need a new CM with real quality. Ah yes you did sorry about that i tend to skim through posts and sometimes miss important points my bad.

Belgium's problem is lack of a genuine quality forward and having no fullbacks..... until they fix that problem be it those players come through or play a system where those players dont matter as much i cant see them achieving much.
