Yeah his link up play with Benzema will be enough to nail his spot on the plane as i dont think even Ribery links up with Benzema as well as Ben Arfa does you can tell the understanding from the Lyon days is still there in abundance.

Malouda? where would he play he can only play on the left as can Ribery theres no real spot for either one of them to play in the centre... And Ribery is pretty much untouchable its just a matter of who is more suited to the centre and tbh the answer is Nasri. or maybe an Extra DM and play Cabaye there.

Ribery and Ben Arfa not only should play on the flanks they have too..... they are far in a way better than anyone else they have.

He wont especially Ribery and Ben Arfa's link up play with Benzema is unmatched by anyone in the squad so France cant ignore that. I would actually seriously consider playing Benzema deeper and Giroud up top he and Ribery turned that around. Having said even if they didnt want to go that way Giroud is a fantastic option from the bench.

Jonas does work hard its true but merely that is undervaluing him in his deep midfield role alongside Tiote..... He intercepts and links play and get the ball in the attacking third for others probably better than anyone else we have the short sharp passes, intecepting skill and ability to dribble in tight spaces is an underrated part of Jonas game i feel. If you watch a lot of the goals we scored in the 4-3-3 alot of the times the attack is started by a 5 yard throughball by Jonas into Cabaye, Ben Arfa or Ba. While i understand the want for a more natural option i would be very comfortable to see Jonas-Tiote-Cabaye in the middle next season.

I can only see us spending money on a high profile forward unless Ba were to go...... I do think Barnetta, Debuchy, Douglas and a young striker is realistic though.

Could play wide in a 4-3-3 when Ba goes to Africa or just needs rest or injured etc etc, it makes sense for a lot of reasons i hope we do go back in for him.

Just turned 27 and i dont think wages will be an issue personally he's asking his current employers for around 30k not really outside of our limit tbh especially for a free transfer..... I feel we need an extra option outwide and he definitely fits the bill and its not like we wont be rotating and he will be on the bench every single week.

Except Ben Arfa says he likes playing on the right. I'd be happy if we went for Barnetta. It depends if NUFC want to pay £35K a week to a player who plays in an area we don't desperately need to fill. He's free which is tempting to Mike Ashley. He's 27 so only 1 year over the usual under 26 years old cut off of NUFC's transfer policy. We need to bulk up the squad for next season which could be around the 55 game mark. On a free at about 30k a week would not be a problem surely. Even with his injury record. Ba? He would definitely add experience and a bit of quality to the squad. Very good back up. Agreed, i would like to see us sign him and wouldnt suprise me if we did..... we have gone back to previous targets on a few occasions during Ashleys reign and i dont feel his age would be an issue due to the fact he's on a free and 35k is less than what Cabaye and Ba are on for example.... Would be a good depth signing to play in wide areas and genuine quality i personally would do it.
