In fairness Rafa obviously had a gameplan and he probably has seen more of Anita than he has Saivet. Wouldn't say it's set in stone yet that Anita is definitely preferred to him.
-
Either do that or play him on the wing, never seen him perform well as a 10 more than maybe once. It's a lot of a more balanced attack anyway, as Perez is closer to Mitrovic as well.

Other than the goal which was a defensive mistake neither did they, struggling to think of a Elliot save all game. Also we had some chances but most of the time we scuffed the shots. That's kind of the idea of football though. You say that like i don't know that Just saying on the balance of play there really wasn't a massive difference.

Better defensively certainly no different going forward - hopefully he will sort that out I'm not so sure he has the players though to do that. In terms of actual finishing obviously but i think there was differences going forward. I can think of at least 5 moments where we had a chance but scruffed the shot or that ridiculous moment where both Mitrovic and Sissoko ran into each other Still looked toothless but in terms of actually getting into positions to score it was much better IMO.

Well i don't disagree but even if it was i doubt it would make much of a difference tbh.
-
The problem is, he wins the ball and holds it up it in non-dangerous areas. In the penalty area he doesn't actually create any assists or finish. That isn't really his fault though, we literally create nothing.

Must have imagined the umpteen times he won the ball in the air up against two CBs and got it to team mate, granted he never got into positions to score really but tonight isn't really the night where you can say he was bullied.

Leicester City v Newcastle United - Monday 14th March 2016

I don't really get the hate against it. Seems to get a bad rap for being 'negative' but any formation can be defensive, it depends on how the manager sets up within the framework. No formation is bad tbh, it depends on your players and how it's implemented. It's clear that McClaren implemented it like s****. -

Didn't realize the injuries were that bad About as good as it can be considering the circumstances. -

Leicester have hardly been thrashing teams tbf, obviously just jinxed it now but while i expect them to win i don't think it will be a thrashing. -

Not expecting a great deal off two training sessions tbh, as great as Rafa is. As long as we get a semblance of organisation and effort i'll be happy, Sunday is what matters. -

Any LB we have would be a pain to watch tbf, best hope we have is to get some decent organization to the point where he's not constantly running 1 v 1 against the fullback. But i doubt two training sessions is enough to do that. -

Monreal should be there IMO, so fucking solid. I'd have Smalling as one of the CBs as well, i know Man Yoo are shite but he's had a very good year and they are solid defensively just struggle to actually do anything at the other hand. The rest of mighty mag's team i'm pretty much in full agreement on.

My nerves have been kicking ever since it was announced Benitez has joined and i have wanted the game to happen immediately ever since. The fact we have to wait till Monday has been a real killer for me, which is mad considering i couldn't give less of a shit before.
