  1. That was two years ago, plenty has changed since then. Maybe so, but you said 'he won't ever start' when he already has plenty of times Norwich are defensively much more solid than when we played them back in October but surely we can exploit a midfield with Gary O'Neil in there. I quite clearly meant for the Euros, also not to meant be taken that literally tbh.
  2. In what sense? if you can't beat a team that has been in the relegation zone all season then you deserve what you get.
  3. If you can't beat Norwich, you deserve to go down. It's a must win and anything less is a disgrace.
  4. That was two years ago, plenty has changed since then.
  5. Probably a good impact sub Pretty much, he won't ever start but he's decent cover for some of their midfielders.
  6. So only Wijnaldum and Sissoko then as Aarons isn't going to play regardless, i'd say it's a positive that the large majority of the squad get to work under him for another week or so and hopefully it bears fruit against Norwich.
  7. Couldn't think of a better description of him if i tried
  8. We created f*** all, I can't remember their goalkeeper making a save of note all match. They created even less really, by the logic of saves of note anyway. Elliot made like one save of note all match, the snapshot from Van Aanholt.
  9. Agree, even if individually he doesn't the team as a whole seems to play better which is the important thing.
  10. I wonder if it was just a in game adjustment thing though, there's a difference between starting at fullback and coming on when you are on top looking for an equaliser. I don't rate Janmaat in the slightest but he'll have to prove it first, he'll play LB with Colback suspended anyway and hopefully he does well enough to keep the useless ginger twat off the pitch.
  11. Nah he really struggles to bring it out and does the Taylor thing of taking about 5 touches and hardly moving forward at all and then laying off an easy pass sideways or backwards. I like him but his lack of ball skill is quite noticeable.
  12. What? His passing is good man When he's got time and space sure but it's not just about his passing he really looks uncomfortable with the ball at his feet. Looks solid as a defender overall mind and think he has a future here.
  13. Very unfair IMO, i have never rated him but he was dangerous everytime he got on the ball and with better movement and finishing he could have had an assist or two as he put in some decent crosses which should have been taken advantage of.
  14. Aye At this point i just trust everything he does tbh.
  15. Nah, he needs space to run into. He doesn't get it behind the striker, if you want him to play on the wing with licence to make runs fair enough but he should never play behind the striker.
  16. As said before I have no idea why people like him so much, he's absolutely bang average.
  17. Give over, there was only 1 team in it in the 2nd half, more than deserved a point and deserved the win. [emoji38]You missed the bits where Elliott had to pull off class saves then. What ones where this mind? Other than the snapshot from Van Anholt i can't think of any, a draw is probably a fair result and if anything we edged it. Not enough though IMO as we needed to win but i'm really not seeing what you saw.
  18. Needed to win that really, it's not the killing blow but it's pretty close to getting there.
  19. They have been the better side and have a striker who can actually score. Not really, they have done fuck all up till that point. Plus we never ever get into situations to allow our striker to score. When ever do we ever score from a rebounded tap in or even get the opportunity to do so? the build up of how we create chances is a bigger problem.
  20. Their luck is fucking insane, do fuck all have a rebound and score. Like fucking clockwork.
  21. Where he should be. Probably still hasn't twigged he's not managing us anymore Thinks he's playing FM in an Oculus. As if he's smart enough to do that.
  22. You for real? Wijnaldum has been a threat in front of goal, very dangerous in the box. Seems more limited in the middle to me, but the new manager obviously has to work with the best available selection. Glad no sign of the liability Taylor. Yeah but his threat has always come from deep and late runs into the box, starting behind the striker limits his space. He was much better on the left IMO.
