We always take ages with these things, can't remember many occasions when it doesn't take hours on end after the initial announcement of a medical.

who? Sure we could find someone in Europe for £20m Who? Lacazette maybe, but again he's not proven in this league and would cost more than that. Aside that there are hardly any about. Players cost a premium, he's shown he can score in this league. Berahino has scored 17 non penalty goals in 88 Premiership appearances (3 assists). £21m (and probably go higher) man. No way He's a kid man Of course his record was shit up until a year ago. Fucking Messi's record was crap for first 4 years of his career. He scored 20 in all comps last year so dunno what you are getting at really.

You dopey prat ? The name

That's the point though, we apparently are not going to and it will be another case of not getting our man because we want to squabble over a few million. It's easy saying that sitting on a laptop. When you actually have to decide , it's a different matter. Giver over man this sort of money is a drop in the ocean to PL clubs, which is why the better ones will usually overpay to get who they want. Sometimes you have to and we never do what's necessary to get it done.

Making bids at end of the window for players not for sale? shocker.

Hasn't only one journalist said they won't increase? you're certainly clinging onto it. Because it's the only one who has said either way Besides it fits into our usual way of doing things.

One of the local rags already said this is our final bid, with West Brom already said they want more before the bid even went in. You'll have to forgive me if i'm just a little bit skeptical.
-
Yet West Brom have already stated they want at least that, thus " we tried " they know this hasn't got a hope in hell of being accepted but it will still be seen as a piece of positive PR. I might be less of BS practice if they didn't wait till the very last minute to offer something substantial like they constantly do.

Will people keep stopping with this s***. We ARE trying because we don't want to get relegated. You would have to be a right idiot to think they are sitting around making "fake bids". Do it in the middle of the window then, not right in the end when it's likely to not accepted and you know that going in and the only reason to do it is make it look like you are trying. I'm sorry but if they were serious but they wouldn't wait till the deadline for some one who is out of favour anyway. Eh? Why would you put your top offer in the middle of the window? Makes sense for both sides to wait it out tbh Only reason for West Brom not to is if they were determined to replace him if sold as he's a key player so they'd need to replace that. But hes not been for them this season. They're in no worse situation if they sell the lad, bar maybe losing a disruptive influence supposedly. That's the point though, this is apparently our top offer and don't plan to go no further. West Brom have already stated they want more, if we were serious we would go the extra mile to make sure we got him like most serious, ambitious football clubs do. You would be mint at negotiating. How much do you want? 30. Ill give you 35. Aye because our negotiators are doing such a bang up job

Yep.
-
We tried.

Mitrovic is are only available fit striker isnt he? Cisse and Toney are out, and Riviere is well Riviere. Aye, not surprising at all really. Say this does happen considering Doumbia is a loan. That means Mitrovic, Perez( who isn't really a striker anyway) and Berahino hardly overkill.
-
We tried it is.
-
Aye.
-
If it happens, Owen won't be record fee anymore.
-
Aye wouldn't be surprised in the slightest.

Christ

I'd argue anyone other than a defender isn't Pulis type of player tbf.
-
& Marveaux, Colback, Obertan, & Guoffran.

In fairness Doumbia is only a loan so it doesn't change a great deal long term.
