Nah, at least Dummett can defend. Current Enrique can't do neither.

Pretty sure that surprise was later revealed as a signed shirt giveaway wasn't it?

The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Keith Andrews appointed at Brentford
Mole_Toonfan replied to cp40's topic in Football
I do agree it would be but it's just not realistic really, none of the top managers are willingly dropping down. They are all taking the best jobs available to them. You could say Klopp i suppose but there's no actual evidence to suggest he didn't take the best job available to him as none better were available at the time. He's no different to the rest, Ancelotti's last 4 jobs have been Chelsea, PSG, Madrid and now Bayern. -

Aye but that's where he started, not Guardiola's fault he was given the Barca job as his first job Considering where Mourinho has gone since i highly doubt he would willingly drop down. -

Agree with that, comes across as a nice bloke and clearly a very good manager IMO. -

Not realistic is it, no manager in their right mind would drop down from the top willingly. People say this all the time but he's not alone, Mourinho and Ancelotti etc do the exact same thing. It's like people saying Messi has to move to a lesser team, to prove he's the best in the world. Why? The best players, want to play for the best teams, surely? Think that stems from the fact Maradona carried teams by himself in his career more so than the fact that Messi plays for the best team in the world. The comparison for Messi is Maradona, and I assume people feel they can't make that comparison if they haven't done the same s***. It's not like Maradona didn't play for a big team though, he played for Barcelona. Ok there were politics involved but it's not like he woke up one day and thought you know i'm gonna purposefully leave them and carry Napoli. I find the whole drop down and prove yourself with a small team to be very silly personally even if i would like to see it. Mind going from Bayern to City is a drop down. -

Because they'll get similar in the summer and they have no time to replace him before the deadline. It's not always about money.
-
Built for the PL though, I think he'll do well at Stoke. Aye probably true, M'Vila disappeared of the face of the planet and seems to have done all right.
-
I like how he qualifies it with a yet so when it does happen he can say at the time they hadn't!
-
He was hyped as hell in France, but like Disco said he's struggled in Portugal. Not really surprising mind outside of Pogba, Martial and Griezmann all of France young players have seemingly flopped.
-
He's such a fucking weird fuck
-
Aye but you have to find someone who wants to come, which to be frank considering our position is quite difficult.
-
I read £19m. Probably €25m? Meanwhile we're intent on chucking £20m+ at West Brom for Berahino As if he'd join us regardless.
-
That doesn't fit the agenda though.
-
It was mentioned but don't think it had gone in yet.

Funny how sky seem to know about who hasn't 'reply to all'. Bollocks. Hes waiting for an auction to happen. If he doesn't sell just before the deadline at this price he's absolutely mental i agree, berhaino is going today like, peace is a f***ing madman if he doesnt sell a player who isnt being played and has 18 months left on his deal for money like this. Why would he care? TV money more than covers it, also they'll get similar offers in the summer. TV money or TV money + 20-odd million? I don't care how much you earn from TV money that's still a huge chunk to cut your nose off at. Either way, the difference in transfer fees offered between now and the summer will be minimal at best.

Why the added .2 Million? Was wondering that

Only way IMO it's possible is if Sissoko is sold, i think he'll be better with consistent game time on the right but he'll never get that as long as Sissoko is here.
-
I don't think they are interested anymore tbh, there's been nothing since the summer. However i don't think we'll get him either.
-
What can you do? realistically, just have to sit back and accept it really.
-
I'm gonna guess that one of them will be on the bench.
