You get a lot more IMO with the League system. Title fight, top four fight, the fight to dodge the Europa League, relegation "dog fight". Then the FA Cup, League Cup, Europa League, Champions League. There's so much to fight for. Football > any sport. It's no contest. Fights Most season there is no fights for any of that stuff and it's mostly very predictable how it's gonna end and is just delaying the inevitable. Years ago sure, but it hasn't been a fight for anything in years and there's always the same pattern that it follows without fail.

How so? Those managers don't do well in the cups as it is right now. They'd only have to play against the big teams in the playoffs, there wouldn't be any need to attack or try to create something such as there would be if they played a smaller team What about in the CL or any competition for that matter? When Barca, Bayern or Real play a lesser team who defends and plays that style, they usually win. The best team always wins no matter what. That's just how it is. They are so much better than the other teams that it doesn't matter. It isn't fair that a team like Liverpool who rely on hard running and counter attacking with not much quality or flair beat Arsenal in a one-off game, having finished 20 points behind them and then they win the league See, I don't know what you mean by fair. The team that wins the playoffs is the best team. Now I can't go with that. They're the best team on that day. The one that matches up the best / is in the best form etc. They're not necessarily the best team over the year. Depends how it's done tbf, if you want to do just a one off game i agree.

Couldn't care less tbh, none of the players already here actually want to be here when push comes to shove. Not going to make a fuss over an incoming player wanting to go elsewhere as given the chance the players we currently have would do the same.

The FA Cup isn't taken as seriously and also Chelsea haven't been a boring team for all of the last ten years. Look at how many games between the top teams are won by the counter attacking team that defend well Wouldn't actually know off the top of my head but i'm pretty sure City win the league majority of the big games they play, especially at home. There's plenty of reasons to be against this but i don't think the argument that a defensive team possibly winning it would be one of them as i don't believe that there is a particularly advantage.

If that's the case why don't Chelsea win the cup every single season?

Right about what? He's talking utter wet

It's not saying much mind, Henderson-Can-Milner is very poor IMO. Could name quite a few midfields which is better at the moment.

Mike is right tbh, I mean we probably wouldn't even qualify but still.

Hardly like Cabella and Thauvin were given a chance

He's overrated in general tbh, does nothing for weeks on end and then bangs in a screamer after his 200th attempt and people wank themselves silly.

Fucking class

Long term and loan in the same interview

Don't see the point in comparing anyway, neither are good enough and we should get rid.

Probably wants an entire island to himself like Gervinho.

Some of the best players we have had in my life time have had apparent issues with attitude. I'd rather give him the benefit of the doubt if he were to join.

Doesn't matter anyway because no one is going to give us that sort of money, it's a non article repeating old ground which is already well established.

Probably because he is one, becomes increasingly obvious each week that he's an attacking midfielder with excellent technique who is capable of scoring in double figures than a forward IMO. In any case, good though Perez is, we could really use a pacy striker who can get in behind defences, and Berahino would give us something we haven't got at the moment. Aye i'm not disagreeing at all, i want Berahino but i obviously want Perez as well. There's no reason why it should have to be an either/or situation. Yeah, Perez is too good to be sacrificing to bring someone else in. Berahino would add to rather than replace our striking options. Aye we basically have Perez and Mitrovic and that's it No other club in the league would be content with that amount of serviceable forwards or consider only adding one to replace another one.

Interest =/= he's leaving. Besides there's no way in hell they are going to pay 25m for him, no one in Italy really has the cash to pay that for him.
