  2. How much have they spent since Fergie left? 60m less than Bild thinks.
  3. Even Sanchez, who is a great player by all means, may suffer second season syndrome, be it with form and/or injury. He's played almost continuously, with the world cup and the copa america, so he might just be knackered this season. Don't see why he would, not like he's a random nobody who came out of nowhere to have a great season and subsequently is expected to drop off.
  4. Dunno why, he's clearly talented and they never did the same with Ben Arfa and Cabella. Spoke of other things but they never denied their ability. It's a bit of a strange one, i have seen him play before and he's definitely not shit. Although not much in the last year or so mind, where he's apparently had a stinker.
  5. Don't get it personally, a few days ago Depay was crap and now after a couple of goals against crap opposition he's the dogs bollocks.
  6. Would trash-talk if i knew who i was playing mind.
  7. I have said before but fuck squad depth, we don't even have a good first eleven yet
  8. Yep. Swansea have probably had better recruitment over the same period of time along with Southampton. They also have had much better coaches, not just the managers but across the board. I can pretty much guarantee the majority of the signings those clubs made would have been flops in the Pardew/Carver regime. No other scout would be under so much scrutiny, hell i don't know any other scouts name. He's only known and under scrutiny (if you say so) because of the bumming he's had in the past. Well that's true, but at the same time he didn't deserve that praise and probably doesn't deserve to be criticized at the same time. He's a scout with good contacts who usually finds value for money players, most of the time they are actually good players apart from like Riveire and some shit. MYM and Cabella for example were good players, once he's suggested them it's up to the management staff to get the best from them. If they can't it's not really his fault unless of course they clearly utter shite, but more often than not ( feel free to disagree) i don't believe they are.
  9. Rooney has hardly got in the box, the last two games i'm pretty sure Obertan has been in the box more often. We maybe shit but he has to want it himself. I think we'll play well and lose 1-0 anyway to some form of scrappy deflected goal.

Don't disagree in general but as it attains to just Colback and Anita, to me that's not the reason the partnership is so shit.

Depends really, that big and mobile player would have to actually be offensively capable because we know Anita and Colback are not and i have made my feelings known about Colback's lack of positional awareness.
  13. It's never going to happen sadly, best we can hope for is Anita for one of Perez/Aarons. Even that might not happen
  14. Would hope that McClaren drops one of the side passing duo and puts Sissoko into midfield with Wijnaldum, leaving one of the wide spots for Perez or Aarons once he realizes Obertan is s****. Not particularly confident of that happening though.

Height isn't the issue with them two, the issue is neither are very progressive and both do the same thing.
  16. Where did anyone say he isn't? All i was saying is and VI expanded upon it so it actually made sense, is he doesn't create for those around him very well compared to other "playmakers" in the league. He's very good at creating for himself and is exciting to watch but he doesn't get his team mates involved like Silva, Ozil, Cazorla, Mata, Hazard, Fabregas and so on do. That's an extremely fair criticism of his game IMO, nobody is saying he's crap and in fact the opposite as he's a very good player but he doesn't get his team mates involved as well as most of his peers IMO.

There's a lot of players who have been hit and miss in France who have done well in England tbf, it's partly due to the fact Ligue 1 is so defensive and slow which makes it difficult for an athlete to excel so much. The game is a lot more open in England so it opens it up for them, at least the ones who are more on the athletic side instead of the technical side. Despite the fact Ben Arfa has both, i genuinely think the English game was so much more suited to his game than the French game was and he's not the only one.
  18. The doubt is already creeping into their minds
  19. Wouldn't be so great if he still gets sold mind.
  20. Good for City mind, if they did get De Bruyne they would be clear favourites on paper but seemingly that isn't happening.

Even Swansea has had a lot more fuck ups than the media will have you believe. Everyone does, it's practically impossible not to tbh.
