Man United, high flying, scoring over three goals a game, rocks up at Liverpool who aren't in good form at all and play for a point. Peak Mourinho.
-
The media will act like it was a great defensive performance by Man Utd, when in reality the only reason Liverpool didn't win was because of their own shitty finishing.
-
Liverpool's midfield is utter crap, they all basically do the same thing.
-
Herrera is very lucky to get away with that.
-
Disagree tbh, they were a lot more aggressive in the other games and got a lot more bodies forward in attack. Today they have been very passive off the ball and looked to contain, not to mention he's benched Mata and Rashford.
-
Shocking that the first decent team they face and Mourinho reverts to type.

Wouldn't be the first player that hasn't looked like a world-beater that Rafa's apparently turned around, not even at this club. Probably the same way Villa fans feel about Clark. He probably didn't look like a world beater because he played a handful of times and in the centre of defence ffs Rafa is fantastic but lets not give him too much credit. Reserve that for the likes of Clark, Lascelles etc etc.
-
Nope it means we agreed to buy him after a certain number of games in the summer, like Brighton did with Krul and so on. I don't get the confusion tbh, we were contractually obliged to buy him not just an option but obliged. If we refused to do so there would have been legal problems ffs. This means absolutely fuck all in relation to anything.
-
I didn't, he had an obligation to buy after a set amount of games. Not just an option but an OBLIGATION, there was absolutely no way it was going to end any other way. I understand people are rightfully pessimistic about this club but in this particularly case there was no reason to be.

Thats what I was thinking, even then it was Spurs after we went down to 10 men. He’s obviously not taken any notice of us (and possibly other teams) and assumes that we are weak team because we are newly promoted. Or watched the Brighton and Huddersfield games. FWIW I'm going 0-0 or first goal the winner. Even they did watch those games it still doesn't paint the picture that we are an easy target defensively. What it would say is we might struggle to create goalscoring opportunities but that's it. -
Individual stats doesn't matter, the team does if Shelvey and Merino is our best partnership means Merino having less favourable stats who cares? I know I personally couldn't care less if he never scores as long as this level of performance keeps up.
-
It is if you're from England, not everywhere What does being English have to do with enjoying or not enjoying other teams?
-
I'll settle down when I see jesting of a little more originality than "herp derp he watched a lot of football at one point". Especially when you and practically everyone on this site watch more than I do and have done for at least 3 years.
-
Mole adjusts his ascot and takes another sip of port as he reviews Valencia highlights from 2002 Get out of here I find it boring because the current world champions are Bayern Munich without Vidal, Thiago, Ribery, Robben, Lewandowski etc etc. That team wouldn't even get past the 2nd round of the CL, it's a horrendous standard of football. I watch football to be entertained and mismatch of bad teams is not entertaining. Cool to see you still resorting to 5 year old jokes though like everybody else.

Argentina are still going to go into the World Cup as one of the favourites. Scary what they could eventually do if Sampaoli gets it right, despite their midfield and back being below average. A lot will have to change, most importantly the Messi or nobody gameplan needs to be scrapped. But stranger things have happened.
-
Relying on Aguero? Que? Aguero has been shite for Argentina for as long as I can remember.
-
Don't understand this line of thinking tbh, you don't want to see Messi at the WC? Never liked Argentina. Understandable, but the big teams are needed in this tournament. Yep, it's boring without them imo.

I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if we win this and lose to Palace. -
In fairness it will probably good fun to watch some football when i'm doing fuck all else I still think the general idea of it is stupid though, ignoring my selfish ways.
