Holtby is a lot like Wilshere he would be class for Spurs, as good as Spurs have been this season they have lacked the technique and tactical brain that VDV had. Holtby would replace that, but at the moment in his career he's not as good a goalscorer as VDV was but i'd expect to see Spurs to go for a forward if they make the CL so that shouldn't matter too much.

Well yeah, what i meant was that it wouldn't much as in we wouldn't be where we expected at the start of the season regardless. We wouldn't be in a relegation fight though.

Yeah honestly we haven't played well all season but the likes of Cabaye and Taylor allowed us to get a point when at the moment we are losing. Probably doesn't mean much but if they had stayed fit we probably would have knicked a few draws and wins here and there.

Yeah i don't agree with that inparticular as long Pards takes the shackles of and the likes of Marveaux play we still create stuff. Pretty obvious why he said it, if you say you are struggling with cash instead of acting like you are loaded you will be stronger when it comes to negotiations....
