Transformed Liverpool Before they beat Sunderland and QPR they was in bottom half and have been all season He's had a good couple of results but lets not jerk that knee too hard yeah?

Pards can't wait to get rid of Simpson

Apparently but i don't think its anywhere near as deep as the Cabaye-Debuchy bromance

What Injured player do you miss most ? ( Poll Added )

To me Cabaye is more important the chances he creates..... he ups the work rate of the team, we are much stronger defensively and more organised. We have been cut open at will without him which i have never seen happen when he was in the team. -
As far as Sissoko goes i would have thought clubs will try to agree a deal with him now and sign him for nothing in the summer. I can't see anyway paying money for him knowing full well they can agree to a contract for the summer. That is us included i don't think he is part of this window plans at least as far coming in is concerned.

We are. I'm not sure how going all gung ho with 8 attacking minded outfield players will help resolve that situation? For one we can keep the ball better and put teams under pressure and instead of them having no fear and easily combine for counter attacks they will drop backwards because they will have the likes of Anita, Santon, Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Debuchy, Marveaux and maybe Remy running at them.... It will help defensively too for that reason as our defense wont be under anywhere near as much pressure. I never saw us under this much pressure under Keegan or Sir Bobby, honestly the best form of defense is having a good offense. I don't disagree with that in principle, but there's a balance to be had surely? Well yeah i'd expect that Anita would be more of a DM like he was at Ajax, Cabaye would be more of a CM and there would need to be an understanding from the fullbacks when to go forward and when to attack. We would also have to press effectively as a team, but any decent manager who has any idea about attacking football could make it work. Unfortunately Pardew probably doesn't have the nous or the balls to make it work

We are getting overrun anyway, which is the point.....

Anita-Cabaye-Marveaux midfield if we press properly would be class i'm not convinced Pardew has the nous or the balls to do it quite frankly. Wet bog roll. Like how the best team in the league has Cleverly-Carrick-Rooney in the same fashion? physicality is overrated and quite frankly all it does atm is restrict us. Funny how very little top teams has players like Cheik yet we need him otherwise we will be overrun They offer owt protection and are one of the reasons they have been conceding so many goals. Fortunately for them, they have the 2 best strikers in the league performing well and another natural goal scorer. They'll get found out by better sides in the CL. 1. We are not a top team. 2. Garcia & Mikel. Even lower Sandro, Parker, Phil f***ing Neville. Madrid use Alonso as a passer and a battler, Khedira is there for physicality. They used Lass last season too. Javi Martinez provides defensive cover as well as passing. Infact you can't bully any of Dias, Schweinsteiger or Martinez. Cabaye and Anita don't provide defensive cover? i'd look at Swansea as one of the blueprints to follow tbh. There's no reason it wouldn't work, at the moment all Tiote is doing giving the ball away he's doing absolutely nothing to stop attacks. Of course i doubt Pards would have the know how or balls to do it but we would keep the ball a lot better and put teams under a lot more pressure by taking the shackles off.

Obviously i'm not privy to what goes on in lead up games but surely it can't be that hard to move Cisse to the middle and bring Sammy or someone else on the right. Some of the chances Shola missed, Cisse would have certainly scored and his movement is a billion times better.
-
He's not that good, because he's better than Pardew don't mean hes worthy of praise.
-
If we had that midfield every week we would keep the ball a lot better too..... Well in theory anyway but Pards would probably f*ck it up some how.
-
Yeah he presses his area well but in terms of going backwards he's not all that but honestly he shouldn't have to. If we pressed as a team properly this wouldn't be a problem.
-
I agree i don't rate him that much but if we was looking at a winger on top of a forward i wouldn't be against it.

Easily, he's the glue that holds us together as well as the brains that directs us. As great as Hatem is he's not as important tactically to the side and a lot of people underestimate it. Similar how Alonso is more important to Real Madrid than Ronaldo. -
I think most people here would prefer Remy and Aubameyang to Zaha..... one thing is that they can actually play upfront and out wide instead of just out wide. I have said before that if Ba was sold we would need a versatile striker and a winger so Remy/Aubameyang and Zaha would be good but fat chance of that happening.

He looks a shit tonne better on the left tbh, i'm actually confident in him on that side. On the right though? lets not go there. -
Agree completely.... for one thing a Anita-Sissoko-Cabaye midfield would have a shit tonne more balance about it and probably function a lot better.
-
Sort of stupid comparison for the reasons you already stated..... majority of Hughton's defeats was in the PL and majority of his wins was in the championship. I'm not happy with Pardew either at the moment but lets not go there.

Was going to say that but he's more a RB these days, Bayern usually have Alaba at LB who is pretty canny himself. -
Tiote is off to AFCON now anyway so we won't have to deal with his crap performances for a while....

Aye i don't think Baines is as good without Pienaar and vice versa, perfect partnership in every way possible. -
Best attacking form yes, but that unbeaten run at start of season was very much due to Taylor and Colo at the back.
