Wonder at what stage Pardew tells the targets how fantastic the football is to get them to join Obviously he will have to talk to him during the personal terms and what not.
-
Even that i reckon Colo is above, there's obviously a wage structure in place and rightly so but i reckon it will be above 40 or even 50k tbh.
-
Yeah that's rubbish, Colo for starters is well beyond 40k. Although the majority of the important players are on around 40k. Reportedly anyway, there's no 40k wage limit though i highly doubt Colo would have signed that new deal if there was.

Can't blame him tbh, hopefully getting Debuchy and a CB in will breed confidence through out the defence Krul included.
-
I have created a niche for myself I have heard of him but thats about where it ends.
-
Always thought his resemblance with Andy Garcia was uncanny
-
Their form has been nosediving for a while now tbh, will probably end up around 9th or 10th.
-
Journal said this morning that's exactly what we are trying to do, would be great tbh. Hopefully it turns out to be case, Ba leaves then so be it we would have our replacement and if he stays then we have another forward who adds something we have lacked since Bellamy left.... Raw pace. Believe it when you see it mind.

Isn't he that Talkshite moron? if so he will probably stay and sign a new contract now
-
Aye agree but i do think attacking teams is the best way of getting points at the moment tbh.
-
Aye him coming in for Simpson quite frankly is like when Barca got rid of Oleguer for Alves..... obviously Alves is a lot better but like him Debuchy will provide an extra dimension to the team that we haven't had in donkeys years. Words cannot explain how important this is.

Journal saying we intend to step up negotiations for Loïc Rémy after the weekend and want to sign the France international regardless of the conclusion to the long and drawn-out Ba saga. Defence is a team game mate we could have put Prime Nesta in that back 4 in those 2 games we still would have shipped loads.

As it stands its Colo for me.... one day Cabaye, Hatem or Krul might prove to be better signings but at the moment i'm tempted to pick Colo. If Woodgate stayed for longer then it would have been him.
-
Unless his agents get a reality check and fast i can't see anyone him paying what they want as its quite frankly ridiculous.
-
Nice to see Ba's replacement is a RB
-
Doesn't sound very promising tbh
-
Aye just seen that anyone seen West Ham consistently rate him? can't say i have seen much outside of highlights to form an opinion.

Tbf he was from an offensive stand point but not from a defensive standpoint he was as good as ever but the reason he struggled was like everyone is he didn't have a clue what to do under Pardew's tactics. I'm going to blame Pardew for that more than i am Cabaye, sure he could have done better but our system and style of play was the major culprits. Hopefully in a improvement in style, new signings and key players returning will result in a upturn in results and form. -

If we continue actually playing just 1 through the middle and actually passing the bloody ball and attacking teams he's going to look bloody good when he gets back. Yes he may have been playing with an injury but the main reason he struggled like everyone else was tactics, from a pure possession and creating standpoint our style has improved in recent weeks so he should excel in such a set up. Not to mention he can pass to a RB now who actually looks to go forward and not a reliability in possession. I mentioned a few months back that i felt he was our most important player behind Colo and our results without him sort of prove that. Not only is he important for control and creativity but defensively he provides so much cover for the team and as an underrated and almost old school knack of knowing where to position himself and intercept passes and win tackles before they actually happen. Not to mention his work rate is immense, buying Debuchy and a CB is very important for our defence but i believe also that Cabaye coming back into the team will also lead to more clean sheets and a big reason why we had so many last season. His return cannot come quick enough.
