Should sign more spanish speaking players tbh, Colo's army is lacking in numbers against Cabaye's.

Gaël Bigirimana rejoins Coventry on a permanent basis
Mole_Toonfan replied to Fenham Mag's topic in Football
Too many good teenagers are ruined by too many games or too many expectations. We should not be looking for him to be first choice for at least another two seasons in my opinion. Agree with that maybe i'm going a bit over the top but he has been outstanding in last 2 games.... -
4.9m according to that article

He's not the finished article by any stretch of the imagination but he's ready to start games now imo. Arguably controlled long parts of games and distrubuted greatly against yanited and arsenal. We fell to pieces when pardew took him off in both games..... Sure theres a lot more to come but he can should imo start games now -

We don't need a CM imo unless Tiote leaves i know i said we should get one in the past. But Bigi has been great aswell as Anita and Marveaux showing his worth in a central area and with Cabaye to come back. Id look at a winger before a CM currently tbh. -

Just look at the top scorer table, no doubt he would be easily replaced and for the £7m, or £3.5m we will apparently get for him. Im implying that my belief is that cisse would be his replacement goalscoring wise and we would get players to maximise his scoring potential. I don't think we would be any worse off as Ba and Cisse cant seem to perform as a partnership anyway.
-
Who actually wants him gone then? All i have said or try to say is that i dont feel he would be as missed or hard to replace as some make out... In reality id love him to sign a new deal with no clause but that seems unlikely.
-
Ah yes times like these is when i know i am a fan and not a businessman who cares more about profits than staying in the division.
-
I honestly dont care unless Ba goes we need defenders a lot more. I know we dont work like this but id rather spend 10m on a CB than 10m on him as it stands.
-
Because he's young don't mean he wouldn't be capable of doing a job straight away. Bigi has been an example of that and bigi is 3 years younger than this lad. Anyone with experience of playing week in week out in a major league is good enough for me. I would prefer Douglas but beggars cant be choosers in this situation as we need defenders asap.

Their infinitely better passing and movement will be no match for our copious positives. Aye and our 6 goals in last 2 games have come through standing still like statues having no movement to speak of? -
I have to admit i have not seen HBA much as a 10 but when i have i find he looks claustraphobic and tries to dribble out of space too much instead of using intelligent off the ball movement to escape his markers. To me he seems a lot more comfortable roaming into central areas rather than his starting position being there. Perhaps its because hes harder to pick up that way but thats what i have noticed from my experience.

Hatem is more of a dribbler and Marveaux is more of a passer and a playmaker and understands the #10 role better as were to position himself and decision making of when to pass and dribble. Hatem relies more on his individual ability to beat a man rather than his"footballing IQ" like Marv. Hatem also prefers to start outwide and come inside so more suited to a winger/inside forward role. To me they are quite different.. Marv is more of an AM while Hatem is more of an inside forward. I can see them both working wonderfully in tandem though. To use an example Marveaux reminds me more of someone like Modric while HBA reminds me of someone like Robben (before his injuries).

He was bad but lets be fair the whole back 4 was Colo has been crap this season while we are singling out poor form (tinhat on)

Just get some f*cking defenders in our attacking and possession play has improved to the level that we should have no trouble creating and scoring.... Balance that out with some f*cking defenders please. -

We was great until last 15 mins where our tiredness and playing twice in 3 days really showed... Our overall style of play and passing has improved tenfold in recent weeks We wont go to OT and Emirates every week get some defenders in and likes if Cabaye and Hatem fit and we will be fine....
