Aye i'd go with Sammy too if Ba can't make it. I expect that too especially after we played 3 in midfield against WBA. -
Not sure if Giggs but what the hell

You all act like i watch every league known to man Only watch PL, La Liga and Serie A( Ligue 1 now and again if the game interests me) and when i say a few times that's not even 5 times which is why i can't give a more detailed opinion on him. I'm really not that much of football obsessive and outside the stuff Sky and ESPN show i wouldn't have a clue.

Well either works tbh, but i am starting to understand these midfield links we have Cabaye and a whole host of DM's but not much in between. We don't have any box to box midfielders or Cabaye aside any creative midfielders, although CB, RB and a Wide player is more important IMO. Definitely with Michu being a prime example from the last window, even Cazorla you could argue despite the 16m outlay was cheap considering his ability and what people are paying for players a lot worse.
-
Actually that makes a lot of sense, there wouldn't so much a problem with Cabaye playing deep if there was someone ahead of him who can actually create things for the front 3 in this scenario. Also i have seen Benat a few times for Betis this he looks class but he's spanish and a midfielder so you all probably figured that out

Haha i see they have gone from one extreme to the next as per usual..... turning on Johnson and Sessegnon

It's bullocks too as i have seen a lot of teams have more possession than them this season. -
While he's been poor this season ( not the only one btw) he works his bullocks off every single game and gives everything possible for us fans. Not fit to wear the shirt? f*ck off your not fit to be fans you ungrateful c*nts. Even after my twitter rant and this i still don't feel better really has pissed me off this has the ungrateful twats.

Tbf to him he's hardly played this season he was great last year and i'd have him above Vermealen who while is good on the ball is all over the place in his positional sense. If i was Arsenal i'd play Mertesacker-Koscielny. I put him into a similar category to Luiz, good footballers but not good defenders, though Vermealen doesn't have it nearly as bad as Luiz does obviously. Really annoyed me when he first arrived and he scored a fair few goals and some in the media were saying what a good defender he was based on him scoring some goals, nice bonus for him to do but its not what he should be judged on I agree completely he's so rash when it comes to positioning himself, one of reasons i love Colo so much he's immaculate in that regard.

Tbf Auclair is a clueless nutjob.

Not really. Even though it'd likely be one or the other, the thought of having Tiote and Sissoko together in a line-up is frightening. Aye i agree i just get the feeling that if he comes in, then we will lose one of our first choice midfielders because of the amount of midfielders we have already. I don't think we will add another first team midfielder without one leaving, while he does offer something different to the rest it just seems to be how we work.
-
Even if Anita lacks physicality the name that's coming up atm is Sissoko, who despite playing slightly further forward than Tiote is an absolute monster of a man so if we are worried about physicality without Tiote surely signing someone like that would end those concerns? Let's say we go from Tiote-Jonas-Cabaye to Anita-Sissoko-Cabaye are we really losing any physicality? All hypothetical of course.

Name change

While i agree, when was the last time we bought a player over the age of 28? much less 31 ffs Not sure why people keep bringing Colo up in relation with Hangeland when Colo was signed he was 25/26 if Colo was somewhere else right now we wouldn't buy him same goes for Hangeland.

Again we read this tripe, it don't matter for s*** most of the DM's in this league are tiny..... it's about positional sense and footballing brain more than physicality. Man Utd seem fine with Carrick, City seem fine with Barry, Liverpool with Lucas/Allen, Everton with Neville, Arsenal with Arteta etc etc. The fact everyone needs to be built like a brick house is a myth. Anyone who's seen Tiote up close knows that he's not a big guy by anyone's definition. He's actually quite small. Wasn't talking about height i was talking about physical build, while it's true Anita is quite small as far as physique goes there's many examples in this league of DM's who are small physically but seem to get on just fine.....

Once again Gerrard proves how tiny his brain is Also if he think's Everton plays like Stoke then i can't wait to see his face when we play them
-
I get the feeling that if Tiote is sold then Anita and Bigi will fight to replace him and we will buy a more attacking player. We have enough DM's as it is but hardly any attacking or creative ones with Cabaye being the only one to speak of.

We bought Colo years ago it's not relative at all..... when was the last time we bought a player over 28? matter about bloody 30.
