I like that squad so jealous of people going btw -
I agree that they have the players who can threaten teams other than just Zlatan all i was saying is as of now they haven't stepped up to the plate if they do then fairplay. I would be worried about them if Zlatan got suspended or injured for a big CL knockout game though as quality as Lavezzi and the likes are they are not CF's and while Gamiero is a good player he's not latter stage CL good. Mind you they do supposedly want Falcao
-
Offensively at the moment its Zlatan or nobody sure Lavezzi, Nene, Menez, Pastore, Gamiero might be nice names but they are not producing and haven't done all season. If Zlatan doesn't do something then PSG struggle i agree defensively they have a nice platform to build from and will be hard to break down. But going forward it's all Zlatan at the moment which was the same at Inter and Milan and eventually those teams fell short due to over reliance on Zlatan. If you go through all PSG's games this season pretty much all of the goals have either been set up by Ibra or scored by Ibra. Honestly out of the players that have mentioned the closest player as far as offensive importance to PSG to Ibra is Verratti who has been outstanding.

A lot rests on Zlatan which is a familiar story with him and i don't think he can carry them to the latter stages having said that he actually has a manager who understands he isn't a target man so we will see i suppose. Dortmund reminded me of us at the weekend btw far too negative once they got the lead and sat back too much too soon. They should still top the group though and it will be great if they can reach the latter stages. I f***ing wish I was reminded of us watching Dortmund I meant in the way that they sat back too deep too soon the only way we can play like Dortmund is in Football Manager
-
If we are leaving the search till next summer i can't see us going back in for him as he will be 28 then and with Ashley around i can't see us spending the cash required. Even if Simpson goes we will look elsewhere IMO.

Until Silva comes back i still think they will struggle.

i'd mute tv for ever.
-
Agreed but honestly it needs to be overhauled due to lack of control and chance creation is quite frankly ridiculous considering the players we have. 38 attempts on goal or what ever it is with the players we have is not good enough.
-
Come the summer he will have a year left on his contract and Betis are not exactly one of the richest clubs in Spain so i doubt it but you never know i suppose. Not even sure if we are interested but AS seem to think we are. Edit: VI

After seeing him a few times over the last few weeks so do i, would be a fantastic link between who ever the DM is and Cabaye. He reminds me of Xabi Alonso actually but more mobile.
-
Mulumbu has a great game more often than not i took the piss outta some in the summer who wanted him but i see it now and i was wrong he's a great player.
-
That's mainly because foreign players on those shores are rated based on international tournaments or great performances against English clubs. That and he's not exactly as flashy as others. I agree with you mind.

Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)

I'm convinced that if he played in that advanced role consistently he would score 10+ he has fantastic technique of either foot as well as great accuracy and power not to mention he's fantastic from direct free kicks. He need's more help in midfield though...Jonas has been poor, Anita has been adapting and Tiote has been inconsistent at best. Our so great midfield of last season maybe not as set as we think if this continues. Anyway he's scored 2 in his last 3 so hopefully he keeps it up we need more people scoring goals than just Cisse, Ba and Ben Arfa. -
I'd love to see it happen among a few other things but i really can't see it. Dead IMO.

Michael Cox @Zonal_Marking Brugge have sacked Georges Leekens as coach, which is a shame, as he has a fine attitude towards Twitter - see his bio @georgesleekens Seriously it's f*cking genius -
He hasn't aged a day ffs Anyway he's a legend of Italian football and quite frankly the Maldini of Inter Milan still has a fantastic engine and can play in almost any position and been one of the best fullbacks in world football over the last 2 decades maybe not as flashy as some others but definitely effective and defensively much more secure. He will be missed the world over when he actually does retire and how Argentina could do with someone like him now still amazes me how he outpaces people half his age All in all quite frankly just a legend.
-
Personally he has WC ability but until he proves it consistently year in and year out and in the CL i can't consider him WC.
-
There was as many goals in the Betis v Getafe game in the space of 30 mins as Sunderland have managed all season
-
Not even sure if he's a troll tbh, reckon he's just a bitter and clueless idiot clouded by jealousy
-
Pards wouldn't allow defensive errors that Southampton fall foul each and every week, don't see the comparison at all.
-
West Brom will finish top half but i can't see them threatening the top 6 or 7, they remind me of Wigan when they got promoted with Bullard and all that and finished top half and was up there for a while.
-
If he could perform like that it begs the question why he wasn't brought back in sooner he's clearly superior to Williamson in every way. Oh well hopefully he can keep those performances up with Colo out we are going to need him to.
-
he was solid as always and while offers little going forward it's not often he's lower than 6/10 each week IMO. We do need to replace him with someone much better going forward to improve but i don't feel he did anything wrong yesterday.
