Who said he was a deep lying play maker? that's utter BS i have always said he's a great box to box midfielder with fantastic technique. He's never a deep plying play maker in a million years, is he capable of doing the job? sure but that isn't his best role. He's basically how Scholes was when he was young ( not as good obviously) play him further forward with little to no defensively restrictions and he will shine. Great player just being restricted by the system.

A bit obvious Pards is trying to play out from the back and play through teams. That was evident through out pre season and during this season, the only thing missing at the moment is turning the neat and tidy passing into actual chances and end product. It will come though.

Because the others spent a bit, but as people have pointed out, a lot of those buys were replacements for players sold. Aye but that's only the clubs in the top 6 or 7 really, a fair amount of people think we will struggle to get top half or just knick it. For that to happen we will have to finish below the likes of Villa, Fulham, Sunderland, Stoke, etc etc can anyone really see that even in the worse possible of scenarios? Be Positive

Because they have no strikers and no fullbacks as well as the fact Belgium are split by different speaking regions so some don't get along. Sort of like with France and their african born players seemingly not jelling with the frenchies. Despite having all this talent i don't see them ever actually making something of it.

Really don't understand why because some mid-table clubs have spent some money we will finish 10th or bottom half.... We are still miles better than anyone outside the top 8 and can't see us finishing lower than that. How did we go from finishing 5th to a bottom half team while losing none of our players, really don't get it.
