Yeah, i don't rate Lescott as high as some people on here but he's been great for City although his transfer fee was ridiculous but City don't give 2 shits about that. As for Barry he fulfills the role Mancini asked of him last season fantastically well, he might not be very special but he does his job well.

It's hardly a necessity though, while a RB, CB and striker are all necessities.

I'm leaning towards that order too, i use to think a CB was more important but i'm coming around to a striker having more importance than a CB now. RB above everything though without doubt.

Doubt that would happen tbh, he has rejected them more times than i can count. Also despite the fact people go on about DDR's loyalty which is true he is what a lot of people fail to mention is he's on like 10m euros a year so it's not like City are going to offer him a massive pay increase.

A striker is more important IMO Not if we are going to play with Anita and Tiote, we need our fullbacks to get forward as much as humanly possible no point having 2 DM's if fullbacks are going to be defensive like Simmo. Besides i stand by what i said earlier, strengthening the first eleven is more important than strengthening the bench. I agree getting a striker and CB for depth is necessary but a RB in Debuchy's mould is more important than anything.

With 2 DM's covering the defence i'd be quite confident that even Raylor would look half decent I'd rather play a fullback who is better going forward, even if they are worse defensively because of the cover Anita and Tiote would provide. Infact with Anita and Tiote we need out fullbacks to get forward as much as humanly possible, so i would feel more comfortable with Jonas or anyone else at fullback than i did before. Still expect Simmo mind.
