There goes Soldado on the long list of La Liga strikers over the last 2-3 years who has rejected Spurs

Martinez to Bayern and Llorente to Juve. ( Black and White wins again )

Especially when you factor the wages they had paid since his signing, they hardly made any money at all on him.

He was better on the left when i saw him for Inter too, it's a weird one but i honestly believe he's better on the left. Perhaps because a lot of attackers come inside these days and naturally they are coming inside on his stronger foot.

25m on Borini and Allen, financial restrictions my arse

Zambrotta, Maldini etc etc, personally i'm really getting annoyed with this we need to buy a LB and move Santon to the right talk. 1. There's better RB's around than LB's. 2. Santon prefers it there and he's great there. 3. There's no actual proof he would be better on the right.

Why? We've got two decent strikers and we only usually play one up front. Like said yesterday the one key area we are still weak in the first 11 is right back (or left back if you move Santon to the right). I really believe two quality full backs could make a massive difference to our game. Papiss and Ba will be playing most games together, not rotated. With one or both occasionally out injured for periods (or going to the ACN), relying on a perpetually injured Shola as backup now that Best and Lovelypants have gone is just asking for trouble imho. Upgrading out rightback may be desirable, but if we don't, we have solid enough depth in those positions now. So you would rather improve the bench than the first team? righto I think we need a fullback more so than a striker, but not for this reason. Strikers and centre backs are difficult to replace if they are injured/suspended where as fullbacks are far easier to fill in with a temporary stopgap. We lose both Papis and Ba for any length of time and we're probably f***ed. AFCON aside how likely is it Papiss and Demba will both get get injured at same time, could really argue if Coloccini and Taylor got injured we would be f*cked, Tiote and Cabaye.( ok maybe not so much here but we would still suffer) etc etc. Personally i would rather buy an attacking RB than a striker and improve the first eleven than buy a back up striker. We do need both it's true, but buying a RB in the Debuchy mould is far more important than anything else.

Improving the first team is more important than improving the bench.

It's not even a debate, an attacking RB whether that's Debuchy or not is the clear as day priority.

Debuchy pls. being a bit greedy but i wish we would buy a CB/CF too I think they've decided Williamson/Good/Tavernier/Perch can cover at centre-half. Yeah it does seem that way.

BTW i wasn't actually being serious just seemed the most obvious thing to say.

The fee is €8,5m. Meant in pounds mate, but none the less that still makes Sky wrong, which was very predictable.

Sky reckon the fee is 5.5m

Ashley has instilled the mentality into us that resale value is the only thing that matters.

If i'm honest Arsenal's is the best from that list and they have Wilshere to come back too ( eventually) but we are 2nd best

A completed signing

Colo's presence clearly inspired the team as they conceded only 1 goal against a very good team instead of the usual 3 or 4. Colo
