  1. Christ. Almost as dear as a season ticket for Borussia Dortmund.
  2. I can't recall us doing that?! Just googled it, and here's the Chronic announcement on it... http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/united-plan-a-60000-ground-1490092 Announced by Freddie Shepherd, who of course was ousted just a few month later. Even the article pays reference to apartments being built which are separate to the Gallowgate extension so it looks like it can still happen although it looks like Ashley has used half the idea for his benefit rather than the footballing ambition side.
  3. It's dark blue like. It may well be but to me it's black. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6msslKi1bP4/Uj07TPQqQeI/AAAAAAAAsi8/v2euH1Bd1WI/s1600/G-MAOL_BHX_2013.09.14.jpg
  4. Ashley's helicopter is black and it hasn't left the ground since last Thursday so im guessing he's abroad.

    NUFC finances

We're coming up to the usual time when the accounts are revealed. I guess ours will be full of doom and gloom or a diverted reference as to why we had to create a profit in the last window. Obviously the experts will give good reason why we only find out now how the books looked at a certain time prior and thus giving a false reading of how things actually are but this is Ashley's NUFC and the accounts dont reflect our potential or standing anyway. At a guess id say we'll get them published by next Thursday but historically we've had them on the 30th March so we could find out tomorrow.
  6. He's an utter cock who cant even speak properly. "The game humbles you. And if you don’t humble with it you are in trouble." In Pardew world he plays himself and also narrates it.
  7. Benitez's 'team' will be fully aware of everything and as Rafa wants to stay, there'll be umpteen angles of propaganda. Expect more of these stories as the season goes on.
  8. Cant believe people didn't already know this stuff. Keegan even said it in his court case.

    Kevin Keegan

Cole had something about him that you couldn't put your finger on. It was apparent to me when I first saw him play and score. Im sure it was against someone like Notts County at home. Anyway, he had the ability to shift his position in a flash to create a scoring chance in which im sure he surprised himself at times, he was a player we'd been crying out for, for years. Putting all this into context though, stories of shin splint problems were non-stop not to mention the many times the whispers had him buying certain illegal substances and whether you believe it or not, something wasn't right as his attitude changed over a period of time. Terry Mac referenced that he may have been tapped up in his autobiography which could explain that but people make their own mind up anyway. Cutting to the chase though, Keegan showed what a bloke he was by explaining his actions and at the time I cant remember anyone that didn't believe what they were told in that it was for the best and it was.
  10. Qatar reckon they're investing some more serious cash in the UK, someone pass the details of us on and get Ashley bought out. They could also increase the ground whilst they're flush. http://www.cityam.com/261789/qatar-has-agreed-invest-5bn-into-uk-economy-over-next-five
  11. Ashley selling up will be the equivalent of Keegan coming in that it will increase the amount of people who will want to see us. A fair few thousand on a boycott would easily be enticed back by decent football and some ambition on offer. A 70,000 ground would still be too small and some need to get away from the mentality that Ashley, Pardew and co instilled because we are an untapped potential. Like an oil well just waiting for the right moment to blow.
  12. £15m+ for a player who will be 28 in September under Ashley? £10m and you may be talking.
  13. Wonder who we're looking at in the Luxembourg/France match as our scouts are there.

Course that Mackem article will stick to Hoo Leo. Most of them cant read words longer than 4 letters and especially things longer than a sentence. They were the reason why click bait headlines were invented as to them, it explains the whole story in one.
  15. More often than not when you read Chronicle articles, the content has nowt to do with the heading.
  16. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/rafa-benitez-exclusive-q--12788752
  17. If ever there's a time to go all out and send a message then it's in this game. This is one of those occasions where a hard 1-0 win just wont do. An assault from the off with the sole aim to score goals is what's needed.

  19. The Ronny Gill's Mark Douglas has been advertising a scoop of a Q + A thing with Rafa for this weekend and he reckons he's answered all the questions that we want answers to. I bet there's no guarantee that he stays here regardless as to whether we go up or not or Ashley keeping the purse closed.
  20. £300m is it's initial cost apparently. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-39356244 Done properly up here, we could boost the local workforce as well as create hundreds, if not thousands of short to long term jobs.
  21. Everton are announcing details of their new ground build at tea time tonight in a move away from Goodison Park. They've played there since 1892 so it's not inconceivable that a new owner would move us if a decent location was found and there's many when you think of it.
  22. Another Puma button collar with Helsingborg's
  23. Seen a few Puma kits with the grandad press stud collar for next season. I guess ours will too. http://www.footballshirtculture.com/images/2017/malmo_ff_2017_puma_home_kit.jpg
  24. We could still do a Spurs and have a new ground built on a tangent to where the ground is now. Yes it may cost hundreds of millions and be against the inbred mentality that the Ashley regime has created but an ambitious new owner can change the thought train also. For now tho, it's the last thing on the agenda as there's nee profit in it for you know who.
  25. This is a pointless debate anyway. Just wait until De Jong returns to pre-season training and gets injured by a stray Riviere shot from 5 pitches away.
