  1. Was just about to say the same - his eyes are shot as well, looks like he's been on it all weekend!
  2. I think the impact yesterday's result has on this match is massive - takes a fair bit of the pressure off us and piles it all on them, and we've seen in the past how they react to that...

If he gets chances like those 2 scuffed shots he missed today next week you just know he'll bury them.
  5. We're as long as 33/1 with the bookies now: http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/relegation mackems are favourites for that third spot....

Absolutely brilliant today - love this lad.

    Alan Pardew

Well played today, got pretty much everything right under really big pressure. I just can't help liking the bloke - celebration at the end was magic.

Di Canio's first team selection: Mignolet, Bardsley, Rose, O’Shea ©, Kilgallon, N’Diaye, Gardner, Larsson, Johnson, Sessegnon, Wickham. Graham dropped and Titus not even on the bench - got the measure of those 2 pretty quickly it seems!
  9. Liverpool having plenty possession but not creating much - West Ham have actually had the better chances.

At least we know he's very close - fit for the derby surely?
  11. Looks like 4-4-2. Sissoko playing deeper should be interesting
  12. What a goal that would've been by Diame - he's a beast!
  13. Aye - trying desperately to keep a lid on the anticipation here
  14. Lovely pass out of play by Nolan
  15. Surely the bench at best if he passes the fitness test?
  16. Aye, same here. I'm sure he's great though.
  17. By an absolute mile. Both attacking and defending them.
  18. imagine a derby between ketsbaia and di canio as managers btw surely worth it for that alone Definitely. Voted for Ketsbaia too.

Be lovely to have him on the bench against the mackems - if things aren't going well a triple sub of him, Ryan Taylor and Shola and they would collectively shit themselves.
  20. You can't really discount Wigan though because they're the team that have closed the 9 point gap to 3. Which they only did by cheating against us. Even a point there (which was the least we deserved - would probably have been 3 if the ref did his job properly) and we would still be 6 points clear. Anyway, feeling positive today, reckon we'll get at these lot...
  21. Me too, and it'd be a brilliantly important result if they did. Indeed. A lot of people seem to be assuming that Wigan will pull off their usual escape but they've probably got the hardest run-in of anyone.

Arsenal's win today puts Chelsea out of the top 4, so they'll be looking to give this lot a solid paddling tomorrow...
  23. stoke 5 defeats in 6 and man u next they're right in it 5 points from their last 12 games and a tricky run-in - they're in deep shit.
