  1. 70 minutes in, mackems still to register an attempt at goal....
  2. Mackems clearly going to win this like.....
  3. Aye. Even Yakubu will fancy testing his pace against that lot.
  4. I for one am fascinated to see how Gardner and Vaughan get on in the midfiled battle with Nzonzi and Formica. Intriguing.
  5. Blackburn: Robinson, Lowe, Dann, Hanley, Martin Olsson, Nzonzi, Pedersen, Formica, Hoilett, Marcus Olsson, Yakubu. Subs: Bunn, Givet, Dunn, Modeste, Petrovic, Orr, Goodwillie. Sunderland: Mignolet, Bardsley, Kyrgiakos, Turner, Bridge, Larsson, Gardner, Vaughan, McClean, Bendtner, Campbell. Subs: Gordon, Wickham, Kilgallon, Colback, Ji, Meyler, Elmohamady. Referee: Martin Atkinson (W Yorkshire) Come on Blackburn!
  6. Wanted by Chelsea, along with Tiote: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/chelsea-to-bid-30m-for-krul-and-tiot-7578111.html?

    Shola Ameobi

Love Shola me - great little cameo today.
  8. I've rarely seen a professional footballer so clearly lacking in confidence - even 10 yard passes looked like a trial for him today. Desperately needs taking out the firing line - would seriously consider dropping him for Perch if Tiote is back next game. Is Kadar dead?

    Papiss Cissé

Great movement, works hard, instinctive finisher. We've got an absolute gem here.

    Alan Pardew

Still really pleased with how he's doing tbh. 6th place and 47 points with 9 to play have exceeded all my expectations by a distance. Some performances haven't been great but there isn't a team in the league that can't say the same.

    James Perch

    My MOTM Well played Perchinho
  12. On the flip side, the 4 points we took off this Man Utd side look pretty decent about now
  13. Harsh. Pilkington is decent for a start. I know, probably didn't phrase it well - think a few of their players are decent, it's just Holt is the main man to watch IMO.
  14. Next 24 hours crucial according to Coyle: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17419654 Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba faces a crucial 24 hours in his fight for life, manager Owen Coyle has said. The 23-year-old remains critically ill after collapsing during an FA Cup quarter-final tie against Tottenham. He is being treated in the intensive care unit of the heart attack centre at the London Chest Hospital. Coyle said: "It's very serious. There's no getting away from that. God willing, he makes it through."
  15. Dropped him for Ben Arfa - wor Hatem better deliver!
  16. If it's true Raylor is out reckon we might see: Tiote - Cabaye Obertan Jonas HBA Ba Arsenal will dominate possession so keep Tiote and Cabaye deeper and try to hit with pace on the break - Ba should be able to find space among their dodgy defenders.

    Alan Pardew

Good stuff - rattle his cage then walk away and ignore him.
