  1. same - we're crazy unpredictable lately. this is the type of tricky away game I've been happy with a draw all season, but today if we have any ambitions of top 5 we really need to be winning this.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Good article from the Guardian blog: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2012/apr/05/hatem-ben-arfa-guardian-sport-network?
  3. I think Perchenbauer is the best I've heard so far.
  4. Wow, Shola, what a nice lad. Seconded. Genuine Geordie ambassador.
  5. There's loads of people on Twitter who will follow you back if you follow them - trick is to do a member search for a related term, look for people who have a similar amount of followers as people they're following (this shows they tend to follow back) and follow them. You'll hit a follow limit at 2000 but that should give you a decent start at least. If you don't want the job people to suss this is what you've done wait until just before the interview and unfollow everyone....
  6. Presume you would be using Jonas in midfield? If Pardew decides to keep him LB I quite like the idea of a Cabaye - Tiote - Vuckic middle 3.

    Papiss Cissé

    Cracking read. Loved this bit:
  8. Simpson could probably do a job at CB for this game - they only play 1 up front and don't have much height in the team - would free Santon to play RB too, although there's a chance Pardew would use Raylor.
  9. Quality. Love the subtle play of words on his real name.
  10. 6'4" and looks like a beast - exactly what we need IMO. http://images.icnetwork.co.uk/upl/nechronical/apr2012/7/4/douglas-248503250.jpg
  11. Their neat and tidy little midfielders were absolutely beasted by Fellaini when Everton won there - would like to think Tiote can do a similar job for us.
  12. With a bit of luck his current goal drought might discourage some of the vultures who've been looking at him for this summer.

    Alan Pardew

Today's front 6 (maybe with Jonas for Guthrie) combined with a new LB, Santon RB and a solid CH to support Tayls and Colo and we're looking very well set for next season. Unbelievable turnaround really.

    Dan Gosling

Gets forward well, always looking to break into the box, could have a role to play if we're sticking to 4-3-3
  15. Cognitive dissonance on a city-wide scale.
  16. Good article: http://www.football365.com/faves/7644527/16-Conclusions
  17. To play as well as he did today in any circumstances would be worthy of praise, to do so with the pressure and criticism he's had recently is top class - well played big fella.
  18. Our current formation could counter their style perfectly, defend deep and break quickly - fancy us for a narrow win.

    Papiss Cissé

At first I thought he reminded me a bit of Andy Cole - now I think he might actually be a lot better....
  20. What were the fans chanting at Jose today, couldn't make it out in the pub?

    James Perch

Fantastic today from Perchinho. My MOTM.
  22. And he chooses this game to realise Downing, Henderson and Kuyt are shite and benches the lot of them. Really, really hope we beat these twats.

    James Perch
