Must be like being in the Dentists chair and hearing the drill start up It hasn't happened yet, but you know it's going to. Class

wouldn't be his fault but my love for him would be stretched if I had to rely on him as our main goal threat. He is acceptable in his role last season, let others score the goals and bring him on to bully defenders/score against the mackems. Your patience would be stretched also I think if he can be brought on like last last season as you say, then he still has a lot to offer for a few seasons yet? Still reckon he's a couple of Mackemslayers in him yet

Amalfitano? Done your homework then Welcome Atromitos, as someone else has asked, will you be travelling to Newcastle yourself?

I think what I love most about Shola is that when he scores, he fucking scores like, some terrific strikes in there over the years. That said, if he was our principle striker I probably wouldn't be so complimentary He's going to be a one club man and that is going to be a very rare thing in the future. Don't think in all honesty he can be called a legend (although I may have referred to him as such in a fit of love) but no finer example of a cult hero IMO.

20 goals + from the big man this season

You're sort of both right in a strange way, £50 for a top is very expensive for what it is, but when you think that you spend much more money on a pile of stuff in your life that you've no interest in really buying but have to (lawnmower at el) then I guess it's OK (providing you get the wear out of it) Would obviously like to pay less but it is what it is.

Me too actually it's such a non football name for a ground it's actually quite cool.

Good support there but wouldn't call them lunatics. Great organised singing and a real credit to them, that's what away support is all about, banners galore, wall-to-wall colour and non stop chanting and dancing for a good couple of hours Class

Actually not a bad shout there, have tried that also in the past

No, only if it is hosting a final. Wrong. It'll be known as St James' Park in UEFA competition, just as the Emirates is known as Arsenal Stadium. Isn't Arsenal's stadiums' original name Ashburton close? Ashburton Grove iirc

Imagine if the airlines have just pumped up the prices of the original date and it gets revered and everyone get the flight form something daft like £100. Won't happen. The flights are only expensive because it's close to the date and it's only the main airlines flying to Athens. The prices have nothing to do with us playing there. Sorry mate, but that's just not true I'm afraid, you wait until (if) we get through to the groups proper and watch those flight prices rise from Newcastle and any other close airport. Seriously I've done this shit to death, it's a real pisstake. No doubt somebody who is ITK will say it's illegal or "can't be done blah blah" but it happens every single time. Perhaps it's only a Belfast thing, but I've had my fucking fill of airlines taking the piss out of me on away trips.

Imagine if the airlines have just pumped up the prices of the original date and it gets revered and everyone get the flight form something daft like £100. They'll just swop it over straight away, sounds like I'm being paranoid but I've seen/done this too many times. My mate is travel mad, books all our away trips and he was online (with four airline tabs open) waiting for the dates to be confirmed, dates popped up, checked prices £89.99 return, I phoned another friend to check if he was still up for it (literally two minute phone call) gave the thumbs up, hit "book flights" now £279.99. That's no shit too, actually happened. It's a big money spinner for them. Cunts

they'll not be allowed to talk about it. This has not received enough love

Airlines are money makers, simple as. You'll be paying top dollar to go direct, best chance is a plane, train and automobile combo I'd guess. It'll be dear no matter what. Happens every time I watch Norn Iron away, the flights two or three days either side of matchdays are shocking. So bad in fact, we've ended up flying to Stansted or Liverpool and then on, as it works out cheaper. Only tip I can offer is, if anybody snags a pretty good deal, get it up on here quick to give others a chance to book the same. Has worked for us in the qualifiers but you have to be on the ball.

Nice move by Pards there giving the lad a good boost after his great showing in the Milk Cup. Hope he gets on. Pleased for the lad.

Cabaye 4m vs Allen £15m Aye, a bit of a different story though, but still yeah. Cabaye, Tiote, Ba, Marveaux, Krul, Santon vs Allen It's moments like these, that make you appreciate just how well we've done in recent times. I'm under no allusion, but when you see it in black and white like that, it really drives it home. I'm not knocking Joe Allen either by saying that, seems like a good kid but that fee (if true) is barking mad. Where is the black kid laughing gif? It's MADE for this situation.

Carroll Downing Henderson Adam Allen (if true) Combined fees of £97 million Great British Pounds.

He's s*** and will demand massive wages. I can see why he's still a free agent. He's better than Simpson. I think if i was a manager/coach of a football club i'd want is someone who is merely more than just a different type of s***. For example would you trade dog s*** for bird s***? Simpson isn't s***, he's average, and bosingwa is better than average. Alan Smith is s***, let's not go overboard here. True i really should refrain from posting late at night, although i'd disagree slightly personally Bosingwa is no better than Simpson but for different reasons. Bosingwa cant defend and Simpson cant attack, i can definitely understand why people don't want to take a chance on him as he's the wrong side of 30 and on high no wages. FYP
