He might be match fit, but to come in straight out of the blue and into an important role, hardly knowing anybody, it's a big ask, can't see it myself.

Agree, can't see him starting or even making the bench (if he signs)imo. Most likely on the pitch at half time, holding a scarf, waving to the crowd etc.

Thought we had already established that Bigi isn't the new Tiote, might look him but doesn't naturally play that role. Now, that's not to say he can't be molded into the same role, or doesn't have attributes that would allow him to perform that role. Just sayin

Had already figured that but it just concerns me that IF Saylor or Colo take a knock, we're struggling in that position. Personally, I'm happy enough with them both if fit, I think they're a good combination, we just struggled last season to cover that combo effectively imo. Seems a little strange to me given that AP puts (and rightly so) a bit of time into extra coaching the defence. Personally, I was as delighted with our clean sheets, as I was with our strikeforce last season. Would just like to see that centre berth being challenged for, by another out and out CB. Plus it seemed to be a priority earlier in the window, a-la Douglas. Can't really see Good having changed that.

Only thing I can suggest is VA seems to play a specific role that we don't have any real depth in, in that midfield list. Agreed its a lot of midfield options, but hey, that's no bad thing. Are we looking (seriously) at any other CB's? Seems to have dropped of the radar (which is slightly concerning)

Is it though, for a player who would so much more valuable to them as part of a promotion push? That's exactly it. Wolves are apparently in quite a good financial condition so they don't need to sell, and their aim must be to come straight back up especially with the new TV deal coming into effect next season. If they sell their best players now it may prove very expensive one year down the line if they miss out on the minimum 60 odd million Premiership clubs will get from the new TV deal. Also fully agree with sicko's post. We of all clubs are in now position to complain about high player valuations. Wouldn't they not just be better saying he isn't for sale then? Even if a player hands in a transfer request, does a club "have to" sell? Maybe they do, I'm not sure.

So if he does his medical today (and passes) do you think he'll be unveiled today? or would that likely be in a few days times?
