Two observations amongst many: Rafa used to hold new signings back until he'd drilled his instructions into them in general. Bruce just wants to get stupid fans onside by throwing them all straight in, with predictably bad results. Also, this team now looks like it can throw the towel in pretty easily.

This is how I feel about the whole situation too, although I am starting to feel some hatred towards Bruce the more he opens his mouth and spews Ashley's PR out.

They know that, outside of here and twitter etc, lots and lots of mugs will believe anything put out by the club. I didn't make that up myself. In that interview with the Daily Mail, Ashley said that the Rafa camp were asking for a one year extension, but he wanted to sign Rafa long-term. Presumably the one year extension was to give Rafa time to see what was happening with a takeover. Bit late to the party but "presumably" :lol: You know full well what you're presuming is a load of shit.

It's the connection Rafa has with the club, fans and area that's the main thing I'll take from it. If Ashley ever did sell then any sane new owners would surely move heaven and earth to bring him back. And he would gladly come if contracts etc allowed. Back to BZG: as if they wanted to buy the club but didn't want Rafa It was all a load of smoke.

Just noticed this in a Luke Edwards Telegraph article: Little wonder the players are saying positive things. Another trick straight out of the Ashley playbook (didn't Jamaal only get a new contract last season, when he came out with the "Mike's a nice guy" speech).

Ashley is a genius really, he's got most of our fan-base where he wants them. It's quite something to take the piss as much as he has and still have the fans turn up / implicitly support his actions. Genius is a strong word, but he must be close.

He's reading off the same page as Bruce is (written by Keith Bishop). It's so fucking transparent. Luke Edwards is also on this same page. Note the common denominator: they're all desperate cunts.
