  1. Don't dissuade him, they are great entertainment. Especially 2 bottles of wine deep
  2. As someone said Tonali's confidence is clearly shot to bits. It's painful to watch right now and we have no idea how long it will last, but it won't be forever.
  3. Didn't even get excited as it was obvious he wasn't gonna score from there.
  4. One pass in the final third. How is that even possible?
  5. Positives so far: Hall, Livramento, Miley, oh and big Joe of course Negatives so far: Tonali seems nervous still, Pope is awful with the ball at his feet still, Dummett is Dummett still
  6. We put at least as much emphasis on improving squad depth as we did improving the first team in the summer and you couldn't ask for a better test of that than here tonight. Excited to see Livramento, Hall and Miley. Want to see them being positive and not afraid to take chances at times.
  7. He has to be the next coming of Messi with a name like that or he'd have been laughed out of the game.
  8. Wilson's most elite attribute is his head. His ability to miss multiple chances and still be on the lookout for the next opportunity, still having the confidence to take that next chance with a clear head and without the misses affecting him. His confidence is what got him here, and it's what keeps him scoring. God knows, we've had an impressive lineup of forwards who's head goes to shit after one single miss Getting annoyed at him for missing chances? Never. Get annoyed at the forward who hides after the miss.
  9. Someones gonna hit these for double figures this season.
  10. That was just so fucking easy. Front three should be filling their boots here. 2/10 need to do better
  11. Get in Sven, about fucking time Made up for the lad.
  12. Trippier has been on fire with the set pieces today. Get the fuck in.
  13. Wow, that should never be a goal Feels so strange being on the right end of something insane
  14. Was a pretty simple pass to play Wilson clean in for any player, let alone Bruno.
  15. This would seem to be the perfect game for Isak with the space we are getting.
  16. Watching the game back reaffirms what I saw the other night. First 10/15 minutes we were really good, excellent even. Gordon/Tonali testing their full backs, we looked composed in possession, Schar spraying cross field balls to the wing. Then Dan Burn inexplicably leaves a pass, leaving Botman having to make a last ditch take or else they are in. Our heads then went for the next 10 minutes or so and they should have scored. We never really recovered our confidence and composure on the ball after that moment. So needlessly self inflicted it is frustrating as hell. Can't wait to see Lewis Hall get some proper gametime.
  17. This is the wrong place for the voice of reason I feel
