  1. Big improvement on Dubs by the looks of things so far
  2. Didn't think it was possible, but this thread has got even worse than it already was, well done
  3. This was my thoughts, 2 pages of replies to a blatant WUM. And it happens every single time
  4. Read a couple of pages since this morning and it's given me a headache. Are there any transfer rumours today or is the last 10 pages the same silly argument over and over and over again? Should put a daily limit on posts per member in this thread at this rate
  5. Was nice to forget these even existed for a while
  6. I mean, he's not even our first choice winger from Leeds to sign this summer, as by all accounts we held a firm interest in Raphina, so I can understand some being slightly underwhelmed. However, his numbers are good, I'm sure he offers graft as well as industry, and if our transfer 'committee' are sold on him, well let's defer to their judgement eh. I'm sure those fans will be pleasantly surprised if he does join.
  7. Wow this brought back some memories, the ones that stick out the most were 9 men at Forest I think, and the penalty being ruled out where the crowd knew the rules better than the officials Good luck to Dwight
  8. I think Harrison would prove to be a decent player in our system, but it seems like we may have to pay a premium to sign him - a premium we appear unwilling to pay for our first choice targets. How much of that is down to him really wanting the move, as opposed to Diaby for instance probably not really wanting the move, may be the deciding factor.
  9. As fast as Mbappe...get him in
  10. I'm not saying he's right at all but it seems to be a theme of yours to go over the top criticising other opinions
  11. Of course he'd be wrong...anyone who has a different opinion to you is wrong/mental/insane
  12. Car parking He must be an absolute nightmare to try to coach if they can't even get him to start parking properly like
  13. You can address both in the timeframe we've had though, and the club aimed to, have tried to. Howe himself would have wanted most of our business done before pre season started, pretty sure he said as much a while ago. I'm not exactly moaning when I point this out.
  14. I don't think any of us imagined we wouldn't have signed at least one attacking player (or midfielder) by pre-season. I doubt Howe thought that would be the case either. Looks like we're gonna be into the season by the time this gets addressed which isn't ideal really, as any new signings will be unlikely to be thrown straight into the team.
  15. Anderson looks out of place in this team. In a good way
  16. Just switched it on and the first thing I see is Chris Wood misplacing a simple pass, I am shocked
  17. It's a slight problem though as in an ideal world you'd get your first choice targets. Not the biggest problem in the world granted. Nice analogy though I don't go for the stinkers at all though!
  18. I think if given the choice between us and West Ham on the same terms, he would have gone there anyway. Not talking about Broja here but in general, we seem to either not be willing to pay what selling clubs want, or not be an attractive enough proposition for a lot of players. Something has to give before the end of the window.
  19. There's clearly money there to be spent, we were going to buy Ekitike for something around £30 million, and it seems clear we would have paid similar for Diaby also. The main issue I feel is actually attracting quality players. Ekitike didn't want to come, there's every chance Botman even would have preferred Milan (not saying this as a fact before some idiot goes all mental), Eriksen wouldn't have chosen us over Man Utd, is Diaby desperate for a move here? Probably not. Even Broja may prefer West Ham over us. We just don't seem such an attractive proposition to good footballers still. I think that's where the drop in quality/potential to the likes of Toney and Harrison is coming from, players who may be interested and invested in our project. Not fully convinced by either, I've never noticed Harrison before, and Toney seems a bit of a knobhead (the argument a few pages back when he said he plays "nowhere exciting" and to those defending him, he didn't have to tell the guy he was a footballer, but once he did, he invited the question). The one star player who may really want to come here is Bruno's mate Paqueta. We should be going all out for players of his ability.
  20. There's nothing wrong with being annoyed by the fact that him and his agent let us spend significant amounts of time trying to get him to agree to move here this summer. If they hadn't wasted our time, we could have spent that time moving for another first choice forward target, possibly already signed and bedding in to the squad. Some of the shit people are coming out with is another matter entirely though
