Technology nowadays would be able to 'black-out' the kits, faces etc so someone watching VAR has no idea which team they would be awarding decisions to (they would also need to be locked in a room away from the stadium with no access to watch the game). I'm more and more convinced it's the only way VAR can work, as they just give the decisions to the top clubs regardless of what the video shows.

It's a penalty if it happens in our box also.
-
Great touch and finish though
-
I saw this and just assumed we were losing
-
Referee can fuck off now
-
Clear yellow if you're not a Man City player
-
The Sky description: 'In a meeting of two of the world's richest clubs" Fuck sake man.
-
I hope we give them a beating tbh.

I wouldn't leave ASM out Can you imagine how badly he'll sulk for the next few weeks if he is left out. He'd be parking in Eddie's spot at the training ground for fun.
-
Is that the best quality image they can use?
-
Not a fan of the camera angle at Bournemouths ground. They should have a bigger stadium like us

This could easily go the other way, as the later it gets the less time clubs have to replace players leaving, so they may well be less likely to buckle and accept less than what they value the player at.
-
Well that was what my post was about. Him scoring one at St James, for the opposition, is kinda irrelevant.
-
And he has a record of scoring lots of goals yeah?
-
No but PSG and Dortmund did which is always a very good sign. I kinda wish we had such competition for this lad, but then again we'd be unlikely to get him if that was the case.
-
I get the feeling we won't be using him as a striker. There seems to be a lot going for him, the only thing not going for him is scoring goals (and getting assists). At such a young age, I doubt the pressure of playing in front of 52,000 fans will be conducive to him suddenly banging them in. This is all based on not noticing him previously though so I may be wrong. Not sure what to expect but we do need to succeed with a signing sooner rather than later so I hope we get the deal done.

I don't want to support them, but then again I have never been a member, they seemed dodgy from the start. Acting as if they were the one voice for all fans was irksome. Giving other peoples money to charity and then claiming all the credit for it was my guess at what the pledge was all about...although even I didn't expect they would hold on to the money for so long. I don't for a second believe they will give every penny to charity either, Alex has probably been looking for ways to skim off as much as possible.

There will always be a certain level of resentment or jealousness among people earning differing amounts, that's not a reason to not pay good/competitive wages or not to pay more than we are already paying someone else. On the caveat that the player can be deemed to be worth those wages of course.
-
I think we will also A couple of months ago I'd have expected us to have a couple of attackers in before the season started though, so I just can't be pretty certain at the minute.
-
I don't think they wanted to not have any attacking additions by this point, they've been unable to get any is the reason we are where we are at the minute.
-
I bet the Man United players won't even have a punch up in the dressing room after the game. They either look embarrassed to play for the club or like they are about to start crying
-
What the fuck is wrong with ASM today man.

What a great player this guy is Am I doing the positivity thing correctly here? Ah who am I kidding, he's still shit
