  1. Did have TAA but dropped him for Virgil. Have mbueno and Wissa - will swap them in and out - depending on where their game will be home/away. dropped Cunha for Woods - think I need a regular 'No 9' and he fits the bill. only issue is with my defence - but getting there. pity i missed the first 3 weeks - otherwise i'd be a bit higher up the standings.
  2. Gameweek 16 Arsenal 3-0 Everton Liverpool 3-1 Fulham Newcastle 3-2 Leicester Wolves 2-3 Ipswich Forest 3-1 Villa Brighton 2-0 Palace Man City 2-1 Man United Chelsea 3-0 Brentford Southampton 1-3 Spurs Bournemouth 2-0 West Ham
  3. OK, daft question time - are the posters in this thread just doing the general FPL - or are you all in the newcastle league ? - if so what are your current positions ? I'm the strongest out of all of you as currently bottom - holding you all up.
  4. As someone posted earlier - at present the 'forwards' even harrrlannnd aren't doing it - so there's no reliable person to stick with it's just a case of balancing the books and come out smelling of roses if you can.
  5. i think wissa in for cunha out - brentford at home, tight ground - even thought their against us - don't have Pope so not an issue. Only other issue - is Sels or Pickford - it's the lesser of two evils - one against manure away - the other liverpool at home ? thoughts ?
  6. ok, wasn't following this thread - just in FPL for the fixture for the weekly comp - but am strangely getting into it - thus am trying, after missing the first 4 weeks, to get off the bottom place in the league. So after a lot of transfers, some good, some bad, have a half decent team and am now only 33 points off 179th place.
  7. Gameweek 15 Everton 0-3 Liverpool Villa 3-1 Southampton Brentford 2-2 Newcastle Palace 1-2 Man City Man United 2-2 Forest Fulham 1-3 Arsenal Ipswich 2-1 Bournemouth Leicester 2-2 Brighton Spurs 1-3 Chelsea West Ham 2-1 Wolves
  8. Ipswich 2-1 Palace Leicester 2-1 West Ham Everton 2-2 Wolves Man City 1-2 Forest Newcastle 1-3 Liverpool Southampton 1-2 Chelsea Arsenal 3-1 Man United Villa 1-1 Brentford Fulham 1-2 Brighton Bournemouth 2-2 Spurs
  9. You shouldn't have told them - give some other no-hopers a chance of getting up the table - LOL.
  10. I know I'm being pedantic here - but on the first point - are we living in a time bubble and someone knows who've got already - as counting Jan 2022 - plus 5 draws puts us in 2028 ? and the second - between 2006 and 2011 is, at most 7 years - so how 8 draws ? and before anyone answers - probably all competitions not just FA Cup. BTW - anyone at home - the bigger the better.
  11. Gameweek 13 Brighton 3-0 Southampton Brentford 2-0 Leicester Palace 2-2 Newcastle Forest 2-1 Ipswich Wolves 2-2 Bournemouth West Ham 1-3 Arsenal Chelsea 2-2 Villa Man United 3-0 Everton Spurs 3-1 Fulham Liverpool 3-1 Man City
  12. The issue is, as I see it, you need consistent players - and at present some of these players aren't consistent - so one minute you don't have them - play well - you buy them in - perform shite - then sell - they score 3. You can't win half the time.
  13. Here's this weeks heat map of predictions - so far, and hoping that there are only two fixtures that were 'coupon busters' - Wolves and Spurs -
  14. Leicester 1-3 Chelsea Arsenal 2-0 Forest Villa 3-0 Palace Bournemouth 1-2 Brighton Everton 2-0 Brentford Fulham 3-1 Wolves Man City 3-0 Spurs Southampton 1-3 Liverpool Ipswich 2-2 Man Utd Newcastle 3-1 West Ham
  15. Wouldn't want him in a month of sundays. If he did probably course of events - sell all good players. buy in a load of other good players. Perform well for first, perhaps second season - spending lots as he goes. Performances fall off. table position dives. Out of europe - not that we might have been in to start with. Gets sacked. Then moans like a rabid 4 year old that all of the problems were manifesting themselves from within the club and nothing could be done about it. The sooner he takes retirement the better AFAIC.
  16. Just something to keep me amused - here's GW 11 heat map for predictions - no one had Ipswich to win - so we are all losers on that one. 2 people predicted Brighton to win - good on you for that.
  17. Gameweek 11 Brentford 3-1 Bournemouth Palace 1-1 Fulham West Ham 3-1 Everton Wolves 2-1 Southampton Brighton 1-3 Man City Liverpool 3-1 Villa Man United 2-1 Leicester Forest 1-2 Newcastle Spurs 3-1 Ipswich Chelsea 2-2 Arsenal
  18. Had some time on my hands - so here's a heat map of this weeks predictions - seems Liverpool were dead on certs !!!
  19. Gameweek 10 Newcastle 2-2 Arsenal Bournemouth 1-3 Man City Ipswich 1-1 Leicester Liverpool 3-1 Brighton Forest 2-2 West Ham Southampton 1-1 Everton Wolves 2-1 Palace Spurs 2-2 Villa Man United 2-1 Chelsea Fulham 2-1 Brentford
  20. Gameweek 9 Leicester 1-2 Forest Villa 3-1 Bournemouth Brentford 3-1 Ipswich Brighton 3-0 Wolves Man City 5-0 Southampton Everton 1-1 Fulham Chelsea 2-1 Newcastle Palace 1-2 Spurs West Ham 2-2 Man United Arsenal 1-2 Liverpool
  21. General question which i don't think i've seen an answer for - but when someone posts their predictions - up to what point can they be edited ? Is it the start of the first game ?
  22. Gameweek 8 Spurs 3-1 West Ham Fulham 1-2 Villa Ipswich 1-1 Everton Man United 2-1 Brentford Newcastle 2-2 Brighton Southampton 1-2 Leicester Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal Wolves 1-3 Man City Liverpool 3-1 Chelsea Forest 1-1 Palace
  23. Palace 0-3 Liverpool Arsenal 3-0 Southampton Brentford 2-1 Wolves Leicester 2-2 Bournemouth Man City 3-0 Fulham West Ham 2-1 Ipswich Everton 1-3 Newcastle Villa 2-2 Man United Chelsea 3-0 Forest Brighton 2-1 Spurs
