When do auto transfers take place after each game day or after all games have been played in that game week ?

I always kept making a transfer so couldn't use it.

@Decky I was just looking at this - and i think the next game will decide his fate - as they are away at Oxford (who are sinking like a stone as well from what I can see) - so if they don't win (Argyle) then I think he'll be shown the door. What a lovely new year present that would be.

If it were me - i'd have someone at that press conf - and draw a line under those types of questions - as it does him or the team no good. It's not like I'm wanting them to succeed - oh no - far from it - but it just the timing as he hasn't been given that long. For me - I'd put the whole squad up for sale and get rid of the overpaid wasters - then start again from scratch - like City did when they went down.

79 points so far - highest in the league yet drop one place to still be bottom as I think someone with more points has joined in.

I think it might be a case of watching and waiting (but to move quickly) as with all new manager changes - the players want to seem to be 'impressive' so want to play - as otherwise in 8 or 9 days time they may be out of the club whether they like it or not. I mean just look at the Wolves performance and also So'ton's - lose the manager and the temp gets the team playing better.

My front line hasn't been great - so took the opportunity to have a shake up - brought isak and cunha in, dropped Saka - and got Sarr - also dropped Wissa. and have money in the bank for GW24 if needed.

I've never really been into this FPL stuff - only used it for the other footy comp to see who was playing who - so apols for all of the daft questions - so here's the next one - With regard to the rating of the teams - I'm taking it that this is a variable number - so going on either / both a teams position in the league and there performance then their rating will change - as it's interesting to see that only Liverpool and Arsenal are currently 5, with Man Shitty dropping to 4, and even with their high placings - Bournemouth, Fulham, Forest etc are only 3's. Made a bold approach - dropped Saka - think he's going to be out for a few weeks - but with no decision being made until the last minute - and I don't have access that way over the next few days - dropped him, got Isak and Murphy in place, and still have some money left over for the manager buying thing later. Fast approaching not being bottom of the league, it's now only a matter of time as I can see several people aren't playing (ie not doing it regularly - if at all) - so the only way is up. I take it that using the 'free hit' card you have to keep to the same rules - no more than 3 players etc, no more than 100m total ?

I think most people will be in this boat - I think I am. Just checked - 16 14 (can't count) so far - I think with tonights game to come.

So the most a mgr will be is 1.5m, and with a bit of wheeler dealing over the next few weeks I'll be able to get that - plus as going for Slot - only have two pool players.

Did have TAA but dropped him for Virgil. Have mbueno and Wissa - will swap them in and out - depending on where their game will be home/away. dropped Cunha for Woods - think I need a regular 'No 9' and he fits the bill. only issue is with my defence - but getting there. pity i missed the first 3 weeks - otherwise i'd be a bit higher up the standings.

OK, daft question time - are the posters in this thread just doing the general FPL - or are you all in the newcastle league ? - if so what are your current positions ? I'm the strongest out of all of you as currently bottom - holding you all up.

As someone posted earlier - at present the 'forwards' even harrrlannnd aren't doing it - so there's no reliable person to stick with it's just a case of balancing the books and come out smelling of roses if you can.

i think wissa in for cunha out - brentford at home, tight ground - even thought their against us - don't have Pope so not an issue. Only other issue - is Sels or Pickford - it's the lesser of two evils - one against manure away - the other liverpool at home ? thoughts ?

ok, wasn't following this thread - just in FPL for the fixture for the weekly comp - but am strangely getting into it - thus am trying, after missing the first 4 weeks, to get off the bottom place in the league. So after a lot of transfers, some good, some bad, have a half decent team and am now only 33 points off 179th place.
