  2. OK, cool, time to get my planning head on, in the vain hope that I'll be able to get a ticket. On that front - would you think there would be the same scrutiny with tickets as there is with PL games ?
  3. Gameweek 7 Villa 2-2 Brighton Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal Everton 3-0 Luton Man United 2-2 Palace Newcastle 4-0 Burnley West Ham 2-0 Sheff United Wolves 0-3 Man City Spurs 2-2 Liverpool Forest 2-1 Brentford Fulham 1-2 Chelsea Luton 2-2 Burnley
  4. Is that the 'issue' as in isn't this just for fun - but then people get serious and then people wait for other to post - then 'copy' those predictions (perhaps with a minor change here or there). I wouldn't want to place any more duties on @Magpie, as he's doing a sterling job (for no extra benefit), but we wouldn't want to be PM'ing him our predictions and then he has to post them (to the list) prior to the first game. Perhaps if there are X number of games and 60 or 70% of them are the "exact" same as someone who's posted earlier then those predictions aren't allowed (ie first come first allowed) - but then who polices this - or do we just take it anything goes ? Anyway, I'm now waiting for @Laviofies to post - then I'll do mine - LOL.

  6. One thing I thought was the way that Adidas have kept a version of every single kit / item they have produced for a specific team (and I'd imagine this would be for any sport as well).
  7. Gameweek 6 Palace 2-1 Fulham Luton 1-2 Wolves Man City 3-0 Forest Brentford 2-0 Everton Burnley 1-3 Man United Arsenal 3-1 Spurs Brighton 2-0 Bournemouth Chelsea 2-2 Villa Liverpool 3-1 West Ham Sheff United 1-3 Newcastle
  8. To me there does seem to be varied 'co-effs' that UEFA have 'come up with' as surely are these the values for a teams 'european' exploits - so these value may not be a 'true' picture of how a club is currently performing. So basically if you avoid as many of the big clubs as possible, so that's the proven teams in pot 2, then the percentage chances of making the next round are greatly increased.
  9. Thanks to all for the how and why's of the draw process - i didn't think of TV and the like. Thanks again.
  10. There must be some reasoning (unknown to me) as to why Real can only go into groups F or G from the above screenshot - why not A, B or C ? And if you do use the draw and do it yourself - then you'll see lot's of 'this team can only go in group X,Y or Z' when looking at the groups there could be others that they could go into.
  11. Gameweek 4 Luton 1 v 3 West Ham Sheff United 2 v 0 Everton Brentford 2 v 0 Bournemouth Burnley 1 v 2 Spurs Chelsea 3 v 0 Forest Man City 3 v 0 Fulham Brighton 2 v 2 Newcastle Palace 1 v 0 Wolves Liverpool 2 v 1 Villa Arsenal 2 v 1 Man United Magpie, am on holibobs for a few weeks so will PM my selections as per the Fantasy league week fixtures. On further checking it appears there is an international break so it will only be one week so might as well post them here, so as below - Gamesweek 5 Wolves 0-2 Liverpool Aston Villa 2-1 Crystal Palace Fulham 3-1 Luton Man Utd 2-2 Brighton Spurs 3-1 Sheffield Utd West Ham 0-3 Man City Everton 0-3 Arsenal Bournemouth 1-1 Chelsea Newcastle 2-1 Brentford Nott'm Forest 1-2 Burnley
  12. I can't believe how people picked 3-0 for the Chelsea game an how many had that as their double up.
  13. So from a friend of a friend of a friend, you get the picture, I've heard that these two (him and her) are a right couple, as in can't be away from each other - then can't stand the sight of each other. (imagine a steptoe and son partnership but on steroids). That's why you are hearing what you are when he said that's not the full picture - it like they were goading each other. After the incident - she was told to leave to the house (by lawyers) but then her parents told her to move back in - which she did.
  14. Not that it bothers me - but had to laugh at their 'hate' table (on the first page somewhere) - Quote from: Draex on August 22, 2023, 10:27:32 am These fuckers are now top 3 on teams I want to smash, sportswashing twats. Top four for me. =1st Everton =1st Man Utd 3 Man City 4 Newcastle Hmm - nothing like keeping it local, hell why not put Tranmere on the list, come to think of it - put everyone else on the list - daft scouse twat. but then thinking about it - I'd imagine that 'ours' if there were one, would be - 1st - Sunderland 2nd - Middlesboro 3rd - Everyone else. LOL.
  15. A VERY big thank you for doing this - I saw all of the co-eff's and thought this is just too much to work out (well I am doing a day job) - so hat's off to you for working it out.
  16. So the time is getting near, only a week or so to go, so who'd you like to get and who'd you like to avoid. The link below is showing, not clearly, the teams that can be in this season league - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023–24_UEFA_Champions_League It showing as - Pot 1: Manchester City, Sevilla, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Napoli, Paris SG, Benfica, Feyenoord Pot 2: Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Manchester United, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Porto, Arsenal Pot 3: AC milan, lazio, Red Bull Salzburg, red star belgrade, shakthtar donesk, real sociedad, celtic +1 Pot 4: Newcastle United, Union Berlin, Lens, +5 The six team to fill the remaining spots are from the following - Raków Czestochowa / FC Copenhagen Rangers / PSV Eindhoven Royal Antwerp / AEK Athens Maccabi Haifa / Young Boys Molde / Galatasaray Sporting Braga / Panathinaikos So taking out English teams, and adding all of the six fixtures into pot 3 (as it's as clear as mud as to who's where) - we end up with - EDIT - Found this link to the 'Paths' - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023–24_UEFA_Champions_League_qualifying_phase_and_play-off_round#League_Path POTS: Pot 1: Sevilla, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Napoli, Paris SG, Benfica, Feyenoord Pot 2: Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Porto Pot 3: AC milan, lazio, Red Bull Salzburg, red star belgrade, shakthtar donesk, real sociedad, celtic Raków Czestochowa / FC Copenhagen # Rangers / PSV Eindhoven # Royal Antwerp / AEK Athens # Maccabi Haifa / Young Boys # Molde / Galatasaray # Sporting Braga / Panathinaikos What would be the best result (as in getting to the next group stage) and the worst, and what would be your preference ? Worst Bayern Real AC Milan Best Feyenoord RB Leipzig Molde Preferred Napoli Atletico Rangers
  17. I know it's along way off but interesting to see how the champions league will work next season especially after the league stage - you'll know every opponent thru to the final. ( they are making it a bit like a tennis draw - so more of a chance of the top 2 reaching the final.)
  18. These are 4 names that people have been mentioning - well fuck me - who were they up against - Miggy- that new defender - cost 85m, burn was probably pestered by Foden all night long, and the two in the middle probably had rings run around them. TBH i'm was very happy that it was only 1 - 0, a bit down that there wasn't as much of an attacking option - but that was probably how Eddie set the team up - with the message 'concede as few as possible' as GD at the end of the season will count. But to the NUFC360 idiot, it only two games gone - and there's a long way to go - wait until the last game of the season to start complaining.

  24. I remember seeing the Man City v Real game - the one where Real beat them 4-3 or the like, and noticed the away fans were in section 316, which was the section I was in when we lost 5-0. I remember that that section must of only been about <500 or so seats.
