Euro 2024 predictions competition - Final standings posted
South-Cheshire-Toon replied to Magpie's topic in Football
General question as this may effect others, but I've just found out that I'm on holibobs from the 28th (just after the group games) until the final - I get back on the 13th July - Final is on the Sunday 14th. So, as I'm in another comp, I've worked out a route to the final - so would it be possible to post nearer the time the Match numbers and a score - as I believe as they are 'drawn' will be the fixture position - Above is the output from the s/sheet I've used to get a path to a winner, I always work it out so Italy win - hasn't done me badly over the years. So back to the predictions - would it be possible to do - Match 37 - 2-1 Match 38 - 3-0 Match 39 - 0-2 etc Also as well is there a 'bonus' for each of the rounds ? last 16, Quarters, Semis and also the final ? Thanks in advance -

I think this may have been said many a time before - but I'd keep with it - BUT with the following changes - 1. Like Rugby, have an open mic so everyone can hear what happening. 2. Have 3 people review the incident - not 1 - therefore a more objective decision can be made. 3. Update the offside rule so that it the FEET of the people - none of this arm / ear being in front etc. 4. A decision has to be made in 2 mins - otherwise the onfield decision is taken. 5. Allowing a 'pull back' - like in the rugby - 'VAR to bring to the ref's attention something that has happened - stamping / punching etc. Perhaps 4 is a bit harsh - but would go with it - and if none of the above implemented then fuck it off completely.

Bruno GuimarĂŁes - NUFC Cup Winning Captain
South-Cheshire-Toon replied to Fantail Breeze's topic in Football
Am in the thick brigade here - so is there a transfer window that ends on the 30th June - "Eddie Howe says he's aware of Bruno Guimaraes' ÂŁ100m release clause, which expires on June 30th" As otherwise teams will wait until after this time and bid lower ? -
Ah well - only 4 more weeks of trying to guess the scores - been a pretty shit campaign for me this season - I need a world cup break each season - hmm - don't think that will be possible. Gameweek 34 Luton 2-1 Brentford Sheff United 2-2 Burnley Wolves 1-3 Arsenal Everton 2-0 Forest Villa 3-0 Bournemouth Palace 2-1 West Ham Fulham 1-2 Liverpool Arsenal 3-1 Chelsea Wolves 2-1 Bournemouth Palace 1-2 Newcastle Everton 1-2 Liverpool Man United 3-0 Sheff United Brighton 1-2 Man City

FFS, What are you implying with the general knowledge of the first few rows of the gallowgate end ? Note I've never been so is it the same as the old Stretford end as per the jasper carrot joke. Ie thick bastards ? No offence to the intelligent in that end. 6.13 for the ref. Above
