If we stay up and retain our players we'd have a chance of winning q cup in the next few years. Whereas if we win a cup but go down that's probably it, we may not be lucky as to bounce straight back up.

Birmingham won a cup back in 2010 (albeit League Cup) but I see don't seem them as more successful than a premier league club because of it, I see them as a crap club in second flight. As much as I hate our crap cup runs, I'd take survival over a cup.
