It is bad that we would need Scholes but what are the alternatives? Not overly confident about the Euro's to say the least.

Can't see Scholes actually wanting to go and if he doesn't we have got sweet F.A in terms of creativity compared to the top sides.

I've heard mixed reviews of Pieters actually. I think Debuchy would be the safest bet (keeping Santon on the left), the only thing with that would be nice to get Santon on his good side.

Carroll's just short on confidence, an England call up can only help that. The kind of player he is gives us something different and he should be there. He has looked a lot more like his old self recently.

The last reply reckons there going to get 30 million for Gyan and Sessegnon. Sessgnon could pull a decent amount but he wants to leave and Gyan will go for about 3 million, if that.

One of my pet hates, commentators calling stuff as definitely done when it's not in an attempt to sensationalise. Jeff Stelling really annoyed me on Soccer Saturday after Swansea beat Wigan a couple of months ago when he said something afterwards like "is this the result that sends Wigan down?" At that point they were one point off safety. Alan Parry is by far the worst for this though. Very often he screams out 'great' passes or shots as soon as they leave a player's foot, only to see them fly out of play or roll straight into the goalkeeper's hands. Kevin Philips... IS THROUGH!!!!!!! *no he's not I thought that. Fecking idiot.
