extremely tedious and stupid No it's not, it's fair. he’s congratulating the team and its manager on winning the league ffs. And it’s a comically-poor attempt at a gotcha! moment.

The problem is he is limited in the worst area for a footballer, his stamina and work rate. If you want to make a direct comparison, how about Yahya Toure? Thought he was the bee's knees, but his quality meant nothing at the top end of the Premier, where other teams could produce slightly less end product, but twice the energy to dominate games. Pep recognised this and binned him off when he got too comfortable. What absolute nonsense. Toure was absolutely brilliant Basically won Man City the league one of the years they won he was unreal that 2013-14 season

Yeah, it looks like we will be losing quite a few people from the football section if this takeover goes through. Chat is the superior section anyway. I predict that Chat will not remain safe from the fallout tbh We’re far less tolerant of shenanigans. You get curb stomped for buying the wrong pair of shoes.

As an individual probably nothing but a banner of significant size then probably the stewards I really can't see anyone wanting to do that though we might see protests outside the ground from people Welcome back man

“Some have expressed concern about the famous old club being reduced to a PR vessel for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, but legitimising a murderous regime is the price you pay if your favourite team is going to sign Julian Draxler.” “Put down those bees, mush. That sweet honey is Mike’s.”

Creased at the thought of Blyth Spartans taking ad money from North Korea. I’m not sure who comes out the more pathetic of the two.

Same with Neesy just slotting "etc" in everywhere when it's not needed. Don't think I haven't noticed.

That’s an ace shirt, too.

We seem to have synthicized the criticism into this red herring of “Newcastle fans, by not being critical of the new owners, bear tacit responsibility for the transgressions of the Saudi regime.” Not a single person has suggested that. “Enjoy the club’s success, but don’t be a disingenuous dickhead when it comes to highlighting the source of that success,” is a more accurate distillation of the point we’ve been making.

All this post has done is just show everyone that you've never been in the chat section tbh. There's quite literally a thread on the Saudi's that's been there since 2015 and likewise the U.S thread. Plenty on here put the graft in for political parties, organisations, charities, and in QuakesMag's case has even made documentaries about this sort of stuff. You're just showing your own ignorance by assuming this has only been brought up now tbh. Again though, framing not wanting the football club to be owned by literal murders isn't a PC bollocks like. It's just not.

Over and over and over and over and over, like a monkey with a miniature symbol

The answer to that is simple, they do. https://www.amnestyusa.org/issues/national-security/ good point. The likes of Amnesty and Human Rights Watch have been critical of the USG for as long as they've existed.

You can make your case, however poorly-reasoned, as soon as the U.S. government purchases a professional sports team.

We didn’t play bad football under Rafa by any means. Perhaps it was more defensive than many would have liked, but defensive =/= bad.

It’s “humour” for knuckle-dragging morons.

I’ve don’t begrudge our fans getting excited about this, particularly right now. The club means a whole lot to a lot of people and I’m glad many have something to look forward to again. However, I have no time for the cognitive dissonance (at best) or downright condoning of Saudi authoritarianism (at worst) that we’re sure to hear from many supporters. Spare me the inevitable disingenuousness. Anyone who suggests a moral equivalency between our outgoing owner and the incoming regime is a fucking dipshit. Football is a broken game. We’re just fortunate that the deck is now being stacked in our favor.
