Their castoffs aren’t dogshit like most clubs’ though. They’re successful in flipping so many players for good prices because they generally buy good players to begin with. It’s not the players’ fault that they buy 3-deep at every position and buy replacements a year or two later.

Good player, bad injury history, but still not a striker. Would definitely take a flyer on him for the right price.
-
I reference this all the time for so many things
-
what I mean is just “more money”

I think Jackson is still my top choice. Reckon he would open things up for us in ways that Isak doesn’t (while still being a less talented/“natural” striker overall).
-
Not really, imo. He’s a top 5 striker in the world, and these contracts get amended all the time based on players over-performing. How many years along in his contract would be the appropriate time to offer him a raise?
-
We don’t really know what’s going on with Isak. Reportedly they (Amanda?) promised him a raise and then fucked that off (Mitchell?) But all we have are rumors and speculation. Not to excuse his behavior because he has handled this extremely poorly, but it’s not fair to say we have a full picture of both Wissa’s and Isak’s motivations/reasoning. We do know that our front office situation has been a mess for a while.

Fulham likely don’t want to sell Muniz, but they seem to be skint and he’s in the last year of his contract.
-
Perhaps, but Vardy unlike Wilson has proven remarkably durable.
-
Our current strikers are Anthony Gordon and Will Osula. Neither of whom are true strikers.
-
I’m a tad surprised that he hasn’t been picked up yet. Granted he’s 38, but he did have 9 goals last season in a poor Leicester side. Can’t say I watched him at all last season, have his legs completely gone?
-
Reijnders looked excellent for City. Annoying that Pep knows exactly what he wants/needs and City have the muscle to just get it done (and are also unburdened by the “rules.” There’s a handful of clubs in world football that are playing career mode in real life and they’re one of them.
-
I’m willing to overlook his behavior, which is no different than Isak’s, because he “only wants Newcastle.” Fickle? Perhaps.

Was born in Poland. Klose was too, actually. Edit: Podolski was also born in Poland. Apparently the Polish coach at the time turned him down. Whoops.
-
Makes sense for them, especially now that they’ve sold Doak. Wissa fills the same gaps for them (ST, LW) as he does for us.
-
There’s just something about German strikers flattering to deceive more often than not. Who was the last genuine world class German striker? Klose? Klinsmann?
-
The former. Much prefer Jackson to Watkins.
-
Big question would be if he pushes Dembele back out to the wing, after the season Dembele just had.

Has the Saudi league received a noticeable uptick in interest since they embarked on their spending spree?
-
Beto’s ready-made for an old school 4-4-2 with a mercurial little second striker playing off him

why they should be outlawed by the league/government/UEFA/whomever
