I thought Gosling was abysmal last night. We'd be out if it wasn't for him in the first half. Goal-line heroics notwithstanding, he was one of the only composed players we had yesterday. Gosling is a CM who has often been played as an AM the past few years. And, unsurprisingly, he hasn't looked good when played out of position. If he can continue to put in good shifts at CM, we should keep him around. If for no other reason than we don't have much depth at CM (as opposed to DM).

Pogba will be one of the best CMs in the world in the next few years. But they're still different types of players.

I do like that our young players seem to be good guys, and not horrible cunts like Ranges. That being said, Bigi was turboshit yesterday.

He really needs to go back out on loan and get regular minutes. He'd definitely got technical ability, but there's no way he'll play often enough for us.

If he must play at all, I've really got no problem with Shola playing against the minnows. He should never see the field in league play, but he seems to play okay against weak* opposition. *League One or below.
