  1. Who would comprise an all-Geordie starting XI, using current players?

  3. 22 shots in one half to Inter's 1 Fiorentina play some fantastic stuff though, some of the best in europe. Love some of the moves they've made recently. Valero, El Hamdaoui, Pizarro, Fernandez, Aquilani. Even Toni is a good shout. If Rossi can come back into some kind of form
  4. Yes we will if we win, Cardiff would have too. Never know, may see Bradford in it. Don't think Bradford's stadium match the UEFA requirements anyway? About 25K+ seater, should be large enough no? Bradford actually have a larger stadium than Swansea
  5. Swansea were above Liverpool in the table before today's game. By fielding the lineup they did, shows they blatantly didn't play to win. The League Cup final is a week away, would've been plenty of time for the regulars to rest after today's game. And yes, I'm miffed that Michu didn't get me any more points in fantasy
  6. Well I stand where I did last weekend: 64. Disappointing, should've had at least 4 more from Michu today.
  7. It's like Swansea's fielded a team of Willo's today.
  8. Michu, Dyer, Williams, Rangel, and Routledge are all on the bench. Have to think Swansea is a tougher side with them in the lineup.
  9. Is Andy O'Brien doing anything of note? Not too sure tbh. I don't follow the Whitecaps very closely. I think he's first choice next to Jay DeMerit in central defense though. I know Kenny Miller has been a bit of a disappointment, they were expecting a fair amount of goals from him. Still holding out for a Heskey MLS debut.
  10. Don't think we will ever see Mourinho at Old Trafford, after having so many years of stability i doubt they are going to want to replace SAF with someone who will only be there 3 years max. As good as Mourinho is i think they will go with someone more long term. In fact it wouldn't surprise me at all if they don't even go with a big name. That's why I think Moyes is a logical choice. He'd fit-in seamlessly there.
  11. I meant the goal, not your post mate.
  12. Tbh, that's why I like Ronaldo better.
  13. Just in time to watch his son walk out the door.
  14. Agreed. Never understood wanting to keep him around simply because he's been their most successful manager. If the guy's not winning anymore, cut him loose. They sold all the generation that was meant to take them up to the top but he had still been developing brilliant talent. He's not really the problem, lack of investment is. First time I agree with this miserable guy. Arsenal doesn't have the financial resources of the Manchesters (few teams in the world do). But they've still been able to attract high-quality, high-priced players over the years. Recently, Cazorla, Podolski, Monreal, Gervinho, Giroud, etc. Only a handful of PL teams have the funds to sign players like this. There's still no excuse for a team this talented to go trophy-less for 7-8 years. Man you answered your own question. They don't have the financial resources of the teams winning the titles. Simple as that. Buying Cazorla, Podolski, Monreal, Giroud came at prices of selling Cesc, RVP etc. Their net spend might be high but it's a well known fact that they can't spend as much as Manchesters and Chelsea and therefore will be 4th-5th. They still shouldn't be crashing out of the domestic cups or Europe as easily as they have been. Arsenal fans are like cats, they love shiny new toys. Despite the FA and League Cups not being all that illustrious any more, it'd be a lot easier for them to stomach not winning the league if they had some silverware.
  15. Mourinho to City Benitez stays at Chelsea Ferguson stays at ManU Moyes/Laudrup/Martinez to Arsenal
