Amazes me we still have people defending him. He's basically saying every week that he has no idea what he's doing any more. When Santon said in the past that Pardew reminds him of Mourinho i'm beginning to understand what he meant..... it's the whole idea of individuals except Mourinho is so much better in every area possible but he does have a similar philosophy that its about individuals over team like say Guardiola is. We will never go anywhere fast with Pardew at the helm and i'm confident our policy can ( when done right) make crap managers look good so if by some miracle we could get a good manager then we should go far with the players we acquire. Shame i doubt it will ever happen. Aye, we'd be just fine playing the "individuals over ideology" game if our individuals included Ronaldo, Alonso, Ozil, Modric, and Benzema.

tbf to them, Dempsey and Sigurdsson are not creative midfielders like Holtby is and more forwards who play deeper. He is something they need IMO and been missing since VDV left. This. Though Dempsey can play out wide and cut-in, whereas I've not seen that from Sigurdsson. Though it's still going to be tough to cram Dembele, Sandro, Holtby, Dempsey, Bale, Lennon, Sigurdsson, Adebayor, and Defoe into the same team. If you have Holtby, you really can't have Dempsey or Sigurdsson on the pitch at the same time, as they'll all just run over each other. I think ideally: Adebayor Bale Lennon Holtby Dembele Sandro OR Adebayor Dempsey/Sigurdsson Bale Lennon Dembele Holtby
